FNC's - Fish And Chips reviews
11 I was served raw chips (yuck). I will not recommend this takeaway place. When I let them know (in a polite voice) that the chips were raw the lady said no that can't be right.
(She was literally calling me a liar!)
We have all struggled, just take the feedback and cook your chips properly! If you can't take honest feedback. Luckily we found a much nicer fish and chip shop that day that did not serve raw chips.
How to respond when the customer offers feedback:
Here's the process we recommend when responding to customer complaints.
Listen to or read the customer's complaint.
Take a moment to process the criticism.
Determine what action you'll take to address the problem.
Thank the customer for their feedback.
Apologize and reiterate your understanding of the issue.
Great service, but I found the quality of their hotdog was really out of line with the price. Hamburger was tasty and worth it too.
Horrible stale chips cooked chips 10 mins not 5 mins.
The burger was good but add a thing to hold it together
Staff friendly and helpful very pleasant. What we have seen of the place so far it is clean and well maintained. We have booked a trip out to the rock for tomorrow and this was all organized by the very pleasant girl in the office. A credit to the organisation.
Convenience, value and taste makes this a 5star chippy in our books. Queues can get long when the Top10 park is full but if you can get in line early, it is worth it
Flat whites in the morning are also sweet as!
Imagine, you come all the way to NZ from West Australia, being told stories of how good the fish and chips are, and then you come here.to overly oily and way too thick batter, cardboard potato cakes that seemed like they were frozen for months prior to cooking, deep fried mussels with a 60% chance of getting mussel beard.yeah, REALLY unimpressed.you get 2 stars only because 1 seems too harsh for any food outlet.
Food we ordered was terrible.
Donut was decent.
Sand on hot water beach may taste better.
We lined up at 4: 30pm (opening time) to get a couple of milkshakes and then waited almost 40min for them to be made. Unfortunately they were pretty awful, really frothy not much body and just tasted of sugar. Definitely regretted our decision. The fish coming out did look crispy and quite tasty but we didn't have any food so can't confirm actual quality. I don't recommend turning up at opening time as they have minimal staff and lots of orders to process (we visited over Christmas)
Delicious and fresh. Busy over holiday period but that is to be expected. Best priced burger to be had in a tourist spot.
Reasonably-priced cafe inside White Water Beach. This is a life's saver when I went to visit as I wasn't prepared for extra food. Great coffee - only uses trim milk! Meal with vegetarian options.:)
Fairly understaffed, even though there were only a couple of customers. I waited 20 minutes for pancakes and a coffee, and there was no rational order to the serving. Prices are fairly high too. But at least the top 10 has a cafe, most don't.
