Excellent cakes and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try their breakfast next time.

I ordered eggs bene with mushroom, the food was about as sad as the service and atmosphere. Sorry but I wont be back.

The coffee was good but the bacon eggs Bene my eggs were not runny as I asked for and for the price I would expect the hollandaise to be not out of a packet and my toast was a bit burnt.

Not a very roomy cafe but pleas atmosphere. A good cake selection. A bit tricky finding somewhere to park at lunchtime.

Disappointed in the customer service, sorry. It's a tiny café but I wasn't greeted, only asked "have you ordered yet? " Was going to get food but didn't feel welcomed by the ladies at the front so I got a to go coffee (a tasty one) and got out of there fast. Just not my vibe I guess. The menu looks very appealing though!

Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast at French TartCafé in Hamilton. I had a flate white & eggs on toast, both which were delicious, well presented, and good value for money. I recommend giving this café a visit if you are in Hamilton it was a lovely vibe sitting outside even inside too

Sat down for breakfast for 3. Loved the vibe, coffee and food. I highly recommend the avocado on toast. I really enjoy that you can also food in half portions.

Excellent food, great portion for the cost. Our option to swap fried eggs to poached was missed but didn't take from the food.

Service (3/5)
Coffee served was mixed up. The server seemed confused what coffee was what when it reached the table. We ended up doing a swap-a-roo once sips had been taken.

Atmosphere (4/5)
We sat in the back outdoor area. Lovely area and you can still hear the bustle from the main cafe area. Soft music playing would really make the space a 5/5.

Didn’t give me $10 change back. When the man served us he asked what food was for who with a rude tone.

Good little cafe with a covered outdoor area at the back. Good pricing and atmosphere and it was nice that there is an option for smaller breakfast options such as a 1/2 Eggs Benny.

Nice place to walk to and grab a coffee! They use Fixation coffee last time I was there which is an amazing roast from BOP which will make you're coffee a decent one and standout with other players in Hamilton. Definitely my one of my go to places for coffee on this side of town or when I'm crossing the bridge!

Quite Busy. Great Coffee and Service. Mince on Toast Amount was a bit disappointing. Great Poached Eggs though

First time popping in here for a quick coffee. Lovely gentleman made my coffee, was delish.
Vibrant and busy, usually means good coffee!
I had to come back on my way home because I spotted a peanut chocolate truffle, which by the way was heavenly.
Will be planning my next brunch date here for a full sit down kai.

Great food at even better prices. I had the half bene with bacon and my son had the full bene delicious

Just as a Cafe should be, friendly, welcoming. Yummy food and the best hot chocolate in Hamilton.

This review is long pending. I visited in 2019 during my trip to NZ, and had one of the best dish in my entire life - Curried Egg Ficelle. I forgot the cafe name and had been searching since then, finally managed to find it today. I am half across the world now, but still crave very badly for this, if only I can have recipe.

Consistently Great coffee (Jeff has won barista of the year a couple of times), Our local, visited most mornings, and often for work meetings! Highly recommend getting to know the staff!

Had walked past this place a couple of times during the lockdown and promised myself I would go and try it out when it opened. The cafe itself is quite small. They are also very popular so I was lucky to get a seat. I ordered brunch, and found the staff really friendly and helpful. I ordered granola and a coffee and both were good. I liked the feel of the cafe, it was well decorated and tidy. Would definitely come back.

Ordered the eggs Beni, was well below average. Hollandaise sauce was out of a jar, spinich was brown (over cooked) & poached eggs were nothing amazing. Wouldnt go back, atmosphere was noisey and cluttered. Had to yell to have a conversation.
