I can only say wonderful things about this place. I enrolled my daughter in at Glenview Medical when she was born and she has been sick quite a lot over the last 2 years. Everytime I call they can always get me in to see someone on the same day and I have never had to wait. The staff are always very friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Recently received my covid 19 jabs at Glenview Medical along with my two teenage kids. Super friendly and super professional. Definitely reassuring to know the medical staff in NZ are doing a fantastic job.

Dr Nihotte has been my family's doctor for as long as I can remember. He is very caring, professional and will always go out of his way to provide us will the best care. It is so nice to have a doctor who genuinely cares about you.

Thanks Dr Nihotte

Good practice. Good doctors- the ones I havecseen there over decades.
Alas with Hamiltons expansion, the practice has got bigger and patient numbers have vastly increased. Busycwaiting rooms, queues at reception.
That I am not a fan of- at all.
The former original building was awesome. Built in the 1970s it was atylish and functional right until maybe 4 years ago when the practice and resident attached unichem down the custom built corridor, it was demolished for the bland monstrosity that now houses the practice.

Recently I’ve been seeing Dr Amber, she is amazing! She’s never in a rush, very informative, and really cares about her patients ️ She’s also been very helpful during level 3 and calling instead of having to come into the clinic. The reason I gave 4 stars is when I first signed up the older receptionist was rude. However there’s another receptionist middle aged and blonde who is lovely!

Leonie, our Nurse is absolutely wonderful! The Centre is more expensive than others, but for us it is worth avoiding the "drop-in" style clinics like Tui and Anglesea. I'm thrilled I've found my family GP

Lisa is a brilliant receptionist. I have never had issues with any of the other receptionists either. Some doctors here are great and others not that involved or interested so as long as you see a few different ones to decide then I would recommend this practice.

Three great doctors- Jane, Alan and lily. Unfortunately reception staff and the manager are very rude and not very helpful at all. Will continue to go for the three wonderful doctors but unfortunately the front of house is very unwelcoming. If your easily offended it stay clear of enrolling at this practice

The nurses are lovely and very sweet with our baby. Dr Scarlet is wonderful and a very compassionate GP. The practice often runs late but it’s because they are taking necessary time with their patients and they don’t rush you to catch up like some places do.

They could be so much better. Manager is not interested in patient experience and doesn't run the place efficiently. First thing you come across when entering is a barrier.directing you to the left away from reception. New arrival checkin could be automated.but no you have people coming from the right wanting to pay meaning 2 queue for the receptionist.causes long delays. You should be able to do more online but they have not enabled booking a diabetes nurse so you have to call and wait. I thought the UK health system was bad but the way they have this place organized make me feel like they are in the middle ages.so slow.slow inefficient.do unwilling to improve.would rather add more fees and charge tge patient than improve the patient experience and reduce cost

Now that I am transferring from Glenview I can give an honest review. My GP Pat Scarlet was amazing but is sadly retiring. While I think the GPs here are brilliant there are some members (not all) of reception who are incredibly rude, frequently trying to interrupt when you haven't even asked the question yet (twice I had to say "please let me finish"). Rates are also extremely high, which is sad given Glenview is not the highest socio economic area. I was charged $70 for a phone consult and $25 for repeat prescriptions. If you don't pay within a short time frame, they charge an extra $15 for "admin fees" (which is why my phone consult was $70) - this was the kind of behaviour that power companies were given a slap on the wrist for and stopped doing. Avoid - especially if you have a chronic illness and need to go there often like I should have been doing.

The nurse that served my father was kind and professional. But the older lady receptionist was very rude. Not very nice talking to someone who is going through cancer.

Shame I enrolled in such a poor medical centre. Their nursing staff half listen to medical concerns and misdiagnose which resulted in urgent care for myself and my unborn baby. Pregnant people, run a mile from this medical centre or stick only to your GP. The nursing staff are lazy and can place you at risk also because ether don't care about your symptoms, they tell you to "get over it". Their words. Ask for something to help ease it, declined yet the Obgyn at the Urgent Care recognized an issue and prescribed help. Don't trust these lazy nurses or the practice manager who upholds this practice.

The practice manager is one of the most unprofessional, unpleasant, horrible people I have come across. Completely ignore legal mask exemptions and will happily place you under more stress and embarrassment because she feels her recommendations of making you sit in a car like a dog for a prenatal check up is acceptable over the legal rights a exemption holds. This was my first experience at this place and I was left in tears at 8 weeks pregnant. I cannot breathe in a mask hence why I hold an exemption.

No apologies for the treatment given. 10 days of sick leaves used by their lack of care provided and not a single apology. This has been going on for 3 weeks non stop and Prudence still upholds changing me for hayfever alongside my morning sickness, because we take time off work for hayfever all of a sudden.

Disgusting treatment from vile individuals. Hope their boss reads this. This is NOT how people get treated.

Rang them today to book an appointment and guess what receptionist said. She said my doctor can’t see the patients who have a respiratory problem. So my question is do we have to go somewhere else or is there like a special doctor who can see a respiratory patients I don’t think that was appropriate thing to say.

Customer services not good might need some training for improvement. Contacted to make appt but boy.question asked and before I finishes another question and another one.talking over me and man, need to talk to a respectful receptionist, possibly some training.

Love the docters and nurses can not complain in regards to them they are amazing. Now the receptionists on the other hand. Quite frankly I've had a couple experiences where they have been nothing but rude. Not all just the odd couple. If it's not giving the wrong information for apps it's the rude attitude I get when calling to follow up. Or how rudly patients get treated in the waiting room. Maybe a training on how to work with or talk to people could help a couple of the older girls. Said respectfully. Also just wanting to add that when calling to book appointments on behalf on my almost 6 month old for his 5 months ims I understand he's almost 6 months but he's been sick for what feels like going on 3 weeks. To feel judge for doing what's best for my child is absolutely ridiculous. You receptionists need to work on your phone manner and talking negatively about patients to other patients is just crazy behaviour and it speaks volumes on the kind of people they are. If this wasn't the closest practice to my house I for sure would leave. Make the chances needed.
