Great facilities, change rooms, toilets, cafe, seating. But the actual hot pools area was alot smaller than i expected! Luckily i was able to get 1 small spot for myself. Water was cool down in the main river area which i expected would be hot. A nice experience, but i wouldn't go back personally

No hot pools. I have been told the pools were good years ago. Looks more like a commercial place now with the cafe. Place itself is nice but really busy and no hot pools anymore.

It's along walk down and it's worth it the pool can fit alot of people the waterfall is relaxing just wish it was open alot longer than being close at 7pm but a great time with friends or family and the history it tells you about the spa

Very disappointed, it used to be an incredible spot where you could swim from very hot to cold, get refreshed in the cold turquoise water of the river and come back to hot swimming without never get out of the water, now council refilled the bottom of the river and it's all shallow and fake! It's horrible!

Great place to relax. Steps, platforms and bathroom/changing facilities are a great improvement

Lovely place, bring your togs to jump in the hot pools. There’s also a cafe on site with fabulous coffee and smoothies etc which was perfect afterwards! Loved it!

I can't really think of a lot of things that feel better than relaxing in a thermal pool on a cold winter day. Awesome place and it's free.a must visit

Super fun friend activity! We were blessed with sunny weather! Parking is tricky if its busy! Try offpeak times! No showered but a toilet for changing. We snuck off a bit upstream to get a bit more privacy but beware of Maori land, its properly gated so have some respect!
