House On The Hill

My family and I visited House of the Hill in summer and had a great time. The place was perfect to disconnect from the usual busy work life in the city and find a bit of peace.

We travelled with our dog Lulu, and she was welcomed with open arms.

The lifestyle property has goats, sheep, cows, chickens, a couple of cats, and a dog, and they are all friendly and nice to have around.

The beds were very comfi and the hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

Totally recommended! We loved it.

Wonderful airbnb! Super friendly hosts, super easy and fast communication, house is spacious and clean and has everything you could need. AirCon, Wifi, towels, veranda etc. Milk, coffe, cocoa, tea, bread and fresh eggs from the lovely chicks are provided. Best views for miles. Also TA hiker friendly which makes for a wonderful rest after tackling Pirongia. Would've loved to stay longer!

Such a wonderful place with such a lovely family and cute farm animals! The house and view is amazing! Came there as a Te Araroa-Hiker on a rainy day. Hannah and her family welcomed us with fresh eggs, milk, hot chocolate! After a wonderful hot shower you can relax and enjoy the peaceful nature around you!
Recommend it to everyone!

Pause and Relax in this cosy cottage with the most magical views.a veritable haven for walkers on the long N/S trail, a family friendly farm stay or a perfect quiet retreat space for any writers, artists, yoga or Tai Chi aficionados. We certainly appreciated the garden produce and fresh eggs from our hosts but also enjoyed the local village of Pirongia and the mountain views and walk trails. Definitely will return! Xxx
