Japanese Donburi-Ya

I love this place, have done since their opening. Their food never disappoints and is very filling, good portion size for a big eater and healthy, too. I think their Sushi is top-notch having lived in Japan and traveled multiple times there. The variety they offer in both Sushi and Donburi are just amazing!
Highly recommend.

First time here. Very good front of house service. Great food. Had pork katsu, very tasty and good size serving. Well worth a try.

The food there was amazing I went there with my mother she had udon and I had chicken with rice we keept on picking if each other plate cause both dishes were delicious

First Japanese restaurant I dined in 10 years ago. The authentic taste still remains the same. Feel very much like a restaurant in Japan.

Their ramen is definitely authentic! Very tasty broth and noodle soup in general. I haven't come across other Japanese place have the same level/quality of ramen as these guys. Well done keep it up! Also note, the staff and the cook/owner are Japanese.

The freshest and tastiest sushi in all of Hamilton. Literally the best sushi shop but super affordable and amazing customer service too! The donburi is also so delicious with very large portions!

Beautiful ramen beautiful service!

I had the Shoyu Ramen and was divine.
Unfortunately they don’t do the tea egg but it was delicious anyway.

Will definitely be back as I’m very fussy about my ramen being done right ️

Comforting and delicious Spicy Tonkatsu Chasu with nice egg noodles. Broth is delicate and tasty. I'm going to keep coming back for more.

Donburi was delicious and served promptly, staff were smiley, busy little place so obviously has good reputation.

The food was nice but the prep isn't as excellent as what you would be hoping for. The food is lukewarm and not hot which was a bummer. The noodles tasted like they came out of a packet.

Good quality food, great selection both in cabinet and from menu. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ramen is sooooo good here. Totally worth to drive a long way to eat it. (When I used to live in Auckland I often drive 1 hour and a half to eat ramen here. Moved out of Auckland, only 50 minutes away from this place. Totally a bless.) Yeah, that Auckland chick is gonna visit you much more often.
