Highly recommend this place for a delicious and entertaining dinner - friendly staff, excellent quality of food, and when they call the hotpot 'spicy' they aren't kidding. Go for 3/5 spicy unless you're very confident

We come here often as it the only hotpot in Hamilton. It's usually pretty good every time.

Food was good but the lowest level spicy chili broth was insanely spicy and had tons of chili peppers in it.

I had a great experience at King of Skewers Hotpot! The cozy and comfortable atmosphere created an impressive ambiance. The menu is diverse with a variety of ingredients, especially the enticing options for spicy hot pot broth. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly, even though the restaurant was quite busy. I'm sure I'll be coming back.

First time visitor to king of skewers and it did not disappoint. I was blown away with the hospitality and the experience. I hadn’t had hot pot before but the staff explained it to us in detail and had the patience to answer all our questions. The food was delicious, the spice was acceptable and the skewers were cheap and reasonable. The dining experience for me was a journey and far more enjoyable than your traditional meal. Will be back again for sure.

Terrific service. The owner was extremely helpful and attended us personally even though one of us neglected to book in advance. Excellent food and a great atmosphere. The food was top tier and great value for money. The cabbage was crunchy and fresh. The lads and I will be returning shortly. The broth was without comparison in its excellence. We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance and I'm so glad that we did. Amazing hot pot restaurant, with excellent choice of skewers and really delicious broth. It's a little confusing at first when it's your first time in this type of restaurant but the staff were very nice and guided us through it. Warning: the spicy broth is really quite spicy. We got the lowest spice level (1) and it was still too spicy for us. The food was definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this place!

My favorite go-to spot for catching up with friends. They have an amazing selection of seafood, meat and veggies for hotpot.

Great restaurant to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The concept of picking and cooking your own food is fun and different. Prices are fairly reasonable and there’s not much food waste which is great for the environment. Probably one of the attractions of the Tron!

No clear instruction surrounding protocol of the self serve menu.signage on some dishes were confusing I assumed you took only what you wanted but you took the whole dish.
Seating was Not suitable for large groups, we were packed in like sardines I will not be visiting the establishment again in the near future.

Interesting concept and it is quite popular overseas. Pretty good food selection and good range of sauces. However, the prices are a bit high end. One tiny mushroom on a skew is 50c? !

One of the best hot pot place i have been. Their broth is tasty and they have a lot of skewers choices. Pretty good deal with the price as well. And most of all staffs are very nice and kind. Will definitely come back again and highly recommended place to dine in.
