3Tuakau is the only lab test that requires an appointment. So if you need anything urgent please don’t go there unless you have had the time to book. Which is not always convenient when you need an urgent test. It would also be helpful if the receptionist explains why they are doing tests with appointment only. Adults usually accept they have been turned away when they understand why. But when you get turned when you turn up, one tends to get irritated. Main reason being that it is operating differently to all other lab tests.

Had an excellent visit, nurse was gentle and had a great chit chat. She explained that they are only open 8am-4pm Mon to Fri and 9am-12 Sat but will incur a weekend fee.
