I write this review to warn all customers like me - who can't read the VERY FINE print without their glasses on! Lovisa Hamilton City centre had a sale on this week and whole shop is full of signs - Sale up to 60% Off" You would thought that taking something from a shelf where the displays show up to 60% off will actually have items with discount on it. Staff member at check out was on phone while serving me- so no questions could be asked. After paying and noticing there was no discount and upon querying it- was told I should look at the very fine print at bottom of sign"only on selected items". Upon enquiring how should one know what the selected items are - were told to look for red price tickets. I've gone back to shelf where the discount signs were all over the place - couldn't find one single red price ticket in that whole shelf Feels like they want to trick customers with this kind of advertising - so look out when sales are advertised at this store!

My 7 year old daughter and I went to get our ears pierced. Her first time, the staff were great. They let her pick the studs, they both did one ear each at the exact time. No tears, no pain all smiles. $34.99 includes two studs, the piercing of the ears and aftercare spray. Lovisa uses the the Studex 75 piercing system.

I got a cartilage piercing done at Lovisa Centre place yesterday and it’s very crooked. You can only see the gem in the earring from completely side on to my ear, looking at it from the front all you see is the metal holding the gem. That means the butterfly is pretty much touching my skull it’s been pierced that far back. It’s nearly a conch piercing. Looks so out of place from all my other ones, I’m so disappointed.
