Midway Burger Bar reviews
17Great food! Go there and enjoy it, this isnt what you might think, it’s way more gourmet than you’d realise, well made, tastes great, good value for money! Finally Paeroa has a great burger bar worth stopping in for.
Amazing food, kind and polite aerobics and just an all round good place to go to get your dinner or lunch.
The owner was very friendly and kind. Noted down all our requests on the burgers we ordered for dinner accurately. Burgers are on par with the ones served up the road at Maccas. I would definitely eat here again next time we pass by.
Lovely service! Best burgers and curly fries! Something delicious. Definitely go in and get you some. Thank you Midway Burger bar
Great curly fries, great burgers. Fries were crispy and nicely salted, and we got the fire burger and a ranch chicken burger. Both were tasty and a good size. I would suggest maybe adding some more salad options for in the burger (tomato possibly?) But was still very happy with the meal.
Recently visited this halal burger shop and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!
For the price you pay the food was pretty decent. Fries could have gone in for a a tad longer only because I like my fries with a bit of crunch. Looks like he loves what he does which is great. Find yourself that something special that sets you apart from the others and you will be away. That might be something like moving away from the frozen Pattie’s like everyone else does or a special combination of flavours. You got this keep up the great work.
Been there three times. Each time they missed something off my order and the chips (if I got them) were soggy. Not the best.
It’s great to see the doors open again, considering it was closed for a long time and the previous owner / operator didn’t care too much for the quality of food or hygiene.
The current manager and her team are doing an excellent job
These beautiful people are providing fresh food daily and all service with a smile.
The mussel chowder, fried bread and Raw fish are a must try in the weekends. Keep up the great work
The wife and I stopped in for a feed, on the way back to the ville yesterday (29-01-22). They were friendly and happy Maori"s, who had good cheap food. Delicious Kai az well. I would highly recommend them. The only thing missing was a big whanau pack, for the whanau. Otherwise A1 from me
I went in today, and got a snapper, chips, an a sausage.the food was great, fresh fish, and the new owners (or workers? I'm not sure) are excellent. I also heard their raw fish punnets are yummy, so I look forward to trying that this weekend when it's available
Garbage fish and chips, the fish isn't even remotely fresh and the batter is thicker than the fish itself in turn making it sickening. Chips are barely cooked also, yuck.
I stopped in there to buy a Hawaiian and fish and chips it was very nice indeed, there was even a paper I could read while I waited for my order I will be back
Great burgers and chips
Service very good and prices are very reasonable
Get a decent feed rather than at the golden arches
Ordered 1 Hoki ($4.50) and 2 "Small Chips" ($5.00). Was definitely expecting the fish to be a bit bigger and $5 of chips is typically more.
Monday night orderd my meal to have them muck it up that was was fine we all make mistakes. But to get home to find they haven't put my burger and messed my order up for the second time had to wait over 30 minutes aswel
Best burger I have had chicken and bacon and Tarakhi better than Mac D's will eat there often from now on
