Native Tree Cafe reviews
66Good place to eat with your dog when traveling. There is a sheltered veranda. Relaxed atmosphere. Food nourishing and tasty
Such an awesome place to stop for a bite to eat! Pet friendly, welcoming atmosphere & food was amazing! & fast service.prices are very fair for quality of food served too! We all left with full tummies & thoroughly enjoyed our food! Eggs benni, panini's & corn fritters.all amazing!
YUM and so glad this spot is a local. Big breakfast is my Hubbies go too, I’m a BLT gal.always fresh. Our dog is welcome to sit out with us, local friendly and great! Thank you
Awesome steak and cheese pie with wonderful seasonal salad. Great coffee as well. We will be back. Great cafe.
The carrot cake muffin looks spectacular, but it also delivered. Tasted amazing. Coffee good. Staff wonderful and so friendly. It's a wee treasure of a location. Def worth a visit. Plus dog friendly too!
Loved the pies and sausage rolls, quality of the cafe is still at the same standard with the new ownership
Wonderful food, my husband got their Big Breakfast and I had the Corn Fritters, was absolutely phenomenal. Will definitely be back! Also great outdoor seating! Very suitable for dogs and lots of water available for them
Homemade pies were delicious with a generous salad covered in the tastiest salad dressing. I can recommend the coffee as well. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Well done everyone!
Lovely selection of food in the cabinet but we went for the menu items and got the Breakfast and BLT which was wonderful! Very friendly staff and the outdoor seating is very nice!
Wonderful homemade pies - we bought 2 frozen beef & mushroom ones to take home too, as my husband enjoyed the one he had in the café so much - will take a détour on our way north on future!
A great stop for lunch! Everything we ordered was cooked well and tasted delicious. Even for a busy day the service was quick and with a smile. Will definitely be back
Last week was our second time stopping at the native tree cafe while traveling. The staff is always welcoming and kind, they offer us a little warm corner inside because it was bucketing rain and we were outside with our dog. Thank you. It's the kiwi kindness that we learned to appreciate when coming here 10 years ago.
My wife & I had lunch here 13/12/22. Thai corn fritters on bacon with salad. The fritters & bacon were lovely, but the salad and vinaigrette was fabuliscious! Our first visit, certainly not our last.
Really poor food. All microwaved and full of curry powder. Really expensive. $15 for a breakfast panni. $20 dollars for some bad corn fritters and another $20 dollars for some microwaved chicken beside some lettuce leaves we're supposed to call a "chicken salad. And a poor drink selection to top it all off. Sort you stuff out guys!
Love these guys. Friendly and keen to look after there guests.
Foods pretty good too
This place has great service, amazing coffee and the loveliest outdoor seating area. Highlyyyy recommend the pies and eggs benny!
New owners are so friendly!
Nice coffee and lovely outdoor dining area. Cabinet food very disappointing though - bought slices and soggy breakfast muffin
Lamb roast pie is a must eat! Beautiful scenery! Soup of the day was bacon and veggie. Excellent flavour as well.
Good spot when the sun is out, bonus well mannered dog about, made us breakfast after kitchen had closed as pie selection was low
