I am extremely upset with this health service. My sister called this healthcare twice this week to be seen by a doctor following a chronic cough she was happy for a phone consultation however on both days the receptionist advised very rudely to call early next morning to be triaged for a doctors appointment which she did. Only to be told over and over again to call again next day to be placed in triage for a doctors phone call.but they could not triage her or give her a doctor's appointment as they were fully booked and doctors did not have availability for even a phone consultation this week.this is extremely disappointing.do better grandview! And show some maanaki.shocker.

Yesterday went here to see the Dr, when we got in there we noticed it was not the dr we had booked for was disappointed as we then had to start from the beginning and had to explain everything that had been going on with my mum and then she said that was time and we would need to make another appointment. Did not get it all sorted. If new drs come in they could at least read case files first and not treat patiences like this. It is hard enough when you have sick people and then to have to go thru this ordeal makes it harder.

Ali is massogenistic & condescending to deal with, when needing forms filled out for acc & winz He doctored the forms to put me at a disadvantage. He very arrogant and rude at the time. I need a doctor I can trust so will be switching to somewhere else and never have I had an experience with a nasty doctor before

Absolutely disgusting! Customer service and response.been with this care for 4 years definitely will change my practice not gonna hope for their care to improve! Wait all day to hear from a doctor or nurse just for them to tell you to go to AnE as super busy so pretty much invest all my day and evening waiting to hear from somebody just to request for a blood test form. It gets better they will tell you that now there is a practice online virtual where you can access a doctor who will be able to provide those forms.yet the doctors from the virtual service will have no clue about this and will advise otherwise and pass you around like a ball in hope to hear from someone. Had enough of this.

Great service. Not easy to get an appointment right away, but receptionist would put me on triage, and Dr always called back and listened to my problems. I have two kids to look after, so I prefer phone consultations if I do not have to be seen physically. Dr was very thorough over the phone, and faxed script to the pharmacy I wanted. Consultation fees are very reasonable.
Nurses very good too. Professional and thoughtful when gave my baby vaccinations.
I also receive messages when the routine checkups are due.
One star down is because for one time, I saw my GP and asked for blood test. When I wanted to know the results, I was told everything was fine, and if I wanted to discuss further, I had to see a doctor. Wow I have to pay twice for one thing. The results were fine was because I was taking medication, now I have to pay to know if I could stop it. I know that clinics are busy. But before telling patients everything is OK, would you please check the reason for blood test.

Usually a few days wait to get an available appointment. Limited services performed here as most of them they conduct at the Pukete branch. Nurses/doctors don't seem to initially introduce themselves to you upon a first meeting so I wouldn't even know the names of the last 2 I've seen. Receptionist seems very meh, never smiles or greets clients, very cold. A reflection of the company perhaps

Avoid Dr Aditi Rathod at this clinic. She has shown a degree of incompetence by not familiarising herself with NZ's healthcare system administration processes. I am now dealing with a bucket load of 'hurt'
from ACC because she could not do her job properly. When I approached her to rectify her error, I was met with condescending sarcasm.

Out of all the doctors in Hamilton, Dr. Ali probably has to be one of the only decent ones, who puts any time or effort in at all.

Im sure you’ve read in the other reviews the problems everyone’s having with the only female doctor, you’re better off jumping in the middle of the ocean and asking an orca for help

I have come here quite often, sadly the past 3 visits within a week all relate to the same thing. However instead of these being follow up appointments, I am charged each time as a new visit. When I questioned the doctor she said.yes we don't do follow up because the doctor who called me in the triage call list booked the appointment. Absolutely makes no sense.
Also the last visit I had with doctor she was supposed to check my chest due to chest pains. But instead just sat there and told me it's just something my body was going through. No examination. Wow and yet I'd had a recommendations to go to A&E that day from another doctor. I decided to visit my own doctor trust my doctor instead, but not impressed. Why? May have to look into taking my family out of this clinic, sadly disappointed.

Reception will be rude to you.
There is 4-8 days wait to see a doctor.
Doctors run late at times, I have waited 1hr 30 mins after my appointment time to see a doctor.
Other than that, doctors and nurses seem competent. Clinic and toilets are clean.

I went to this practice as it is the closest practice to my house. When I walked in. I was greeted by the receptionist team who were warm and welcoming. This was a great start. I enrolled and was able to book an appointment on the same day - another plus. I was also happy with the price, very reasonable as I am used to paying twice as much for a doctors appointment.
Now for the cons
When I returned for my appointment, I waited 40minutes passed my booking times. When the doctor was ready to see me. She stood by her office door and yelled my name out. Her office is around the corner and cannot be seen from where I was sitting. I could not see the doctor, so I assumed she wasn’t talking to me. She yelled my name out again and waited then walked around the corner to be in my view. She did not look impressed. I stood up and slowly walked behind her as I’m heavily pregnant and have an injured foot. When I was at the corridor where the doctors offices were, I had no idea which room she walked in to. So I slowly went up to the first office to have a look, luckily she was in there. The initial interaction with the doctor was poor. She did not greet me, nor made it a welcoming environment, she did not introduce herself and didn’t seem interested in my concerns. Which is pretty stink considering, this is a vulnerable time for people and she did an awful job at making me feel comfortable. She was not observant at all and didn’t really listen, so had to repeat myself multiple times. The computer system wasn’t working properly to process my acc forms, medical certificate and she also got things wrong from not listening properly so had to redo the forms. She asked if she could do this later as she needs to see the next patient. I let her know that I was here before that person and waited 40 mins passed my appointment to be seen. Although annoying, the person after me had only been waiting 20 minutes. So she can wait until you are finish with the documents I require. She did not like this and her behaviour very unprofessional and one I’ve never seen from a doctor. Now, I understand she is running late but that is something to take up with her supervisor around making plans so that patients aren’t waiting 40-1hour. Not to have an attitude with a patient. Although my husband doesn’t want me to go back their. I will pass on my feedback to them and hopefully she was just having one of those day.

Thank you

NorthCare DontCare‍️
Even if you've been there for years or if that's been your family doctor for years, they will not take in new patients no exceptions if the new addition to the family is a baby. Its appalling

Our whole family has been with NorthCare Grandview Road for over a year, absolutely amazing everything, the staff at reception, nurses and doctors. Never had any issues with them. Yes, they are quite busy so next day appointments are not always available.

They couldn't find me on their system and told me I wasn't a patient there. Told me I should go back to Avalon Medical Centre.

Charges you $9 if you cancel an appointment. It was my first appointment and it was cancelled a day in advance. My appointment was for depression. The bill didn't help. I'll go somewhere else. Thanks for zero service and a $9 bill.

I have a near 2 year old that has been sick many of times throughout his life so far. Not ONCE have I managed to get him an appointment asap. Each time there's roughly a week's wait before he can be seen. A whole week! I'm tired of having to wait approximately 3 hours at A and E every single time he's sick. Currently on the hunt for a more practical medical center. Not to mention many of the staff are extremely rude, on phone and in person! Highly don't recommend GMC.

Never had any problems with this medical centre. We have three children one of which has a kidney condition, whenever there's no appointment available they arrange our GP to call us and do a phone consult. Wait times have always been more than a day, but if you plan your appointment well ahead of sickness becoming a dire situation its works fine. Staff always friendly and accomodating. Definatley recommend!
