Paasha Turkish Cafe reviews
36 Very pricy and bad food.
Spoiled hummus and the sauces.
Very unhygienic all over
Over priced, food not fresh, quantity is not sufficient as compare to price they charge, unfortunately not going back again, young guys make meal sometimes, but Old fella just don’t care about customer, Food quality and quantity, bad experience.
Today had a meal here worst ever,
Kebab was burnt and very dry Hummus watery and no taste, chips was old and heated not fresh, two or three spoon of rice for the meal. Pieces of chicken where fine.
Overall 1 out of 10
Went for dinner to Paasha and the four of us, ordered four different things.the place wasn't too busy and the ambiance seemed nice.
I ordered for the seafood mezza for one.
Everyone's food came through within 10-15mins, just the seafood mezza was pending. When the food arrives, I get the fish of the day, which was confusing as the seafood mezza didn't have fries. I then told the person serving us that there was bread and some other parts of the fish that didn't come through.he gets the bread and then comes back and says "oh we didn't have the prawns and calamari, so I got you the fish of the day". But we didn't order for it, when we checked with him, he says oh we don't have any left so I got you another dish and "I'm busy with other customers". But there was no communication of it. And then very blantantly tell us that we can pay for the seafood mezza instead of the fish of the day which is just a dollar difference. When we asked him to take the food back, he refused to take it back as well.
At the end, we didn't pay for it, but you can't mess someone's meal up and then ask them to pay.
Worst kebab ever had. Told them to put hot sauce and aioli, surprisingly didn’t put both the sauces. And the kebab was not toasted as well. Worst service ever had in hamilton.
I bought 3 falafel on rice.that’s all 3 plates tastes very different and bitter.vegetable looks stale.
Worst kebabs in New Zealand. The kebab that we were served were cold and too chewy, probably because the chicken wasn't thawed properly. Won't ever visit again.
The staff is smoking the shish that (we paid for) in front of us before giving it to us and telling us he can do what he wants. Swearing at us and lieing to us is Great service not! Never again. If it wasn't for Mustafa we would have taken thing further.
Quite pricey for a regular size kebab $15 just a kebab. Order a mixed kebab combo which is listed as $21 but was charged $22. Didn't mind it as thought meal would be worth it. Got my kebab and the size was smaller then your average regular kebab and the fries are not half of the paper bag it was in. Again didn't mind as I thought it would be tasty but unfortunately it wasn't. They forgot to add my sauces although I was the only customer there so I'm not sure how they could have forgotten. The only saving grace is the lamb as it was season well & not dry. The chicken was very dry. Service is poor because the man that served me didn't ask for my salad preference, over charged me, forgot to add my sauces & gave off an impatience persona.
Probably the most mid kebab i've ever had. Meat was dry and chewy and barely had any sauces: (
I ordered chicken shish from Uber eats for dinner and firstly, I was expecting it to be packed properly so I’m not sure if this was by driver or restaurant itself and next thing, the chicken isn’t cooked and not really tasty. Very disappointed
First time dining at the Hamilton Paasha. I have tried other Paasha;s around NZ and are awesome. Once seated the first thing we noticed was the footprints on the floor. I am not sure the floor has been mopped in a while. The boy took our order but let the water bottle and glasses on the bar. I also had to get our drinks off the bar as the boy was taking another order. My wife had the Falafel plate and I had the mixed grill. My wife couldn't eat the Chickpea medallion and Zuccini fritter as she said they tasted oily and likened it to be being microwaved rather than fried. My mixed grill was ok. The dish size pales in comparison to Dunedins store. A bit stingy on the tabouli and hummous. My wife had unwell after. Not coming back here.
Usually great but my food had a stone or something in it and I broke my tooth. Will be back for the hookah but will give the food a miss from now on.
I scanned in on the government tracing app but there was a man insistent on me filling in the written register as well.
Coffee was great!
I really love Turkish food and went in thinking it was run by same people as have same name in Pukekohe which is brilliant. It isn't and it isn't. It was OK but nothing special
The dish was great. I ordered minced and lamb kebabs. The staff were very nice but a bit shy. The service can be a bit more professional.
I love turkish tea they serve. That's really good. Ask them for apple tea as well. I visit there time to time for get together with my homies.
Lovely food, but the diner is mostly quite and rather dark. Food is a little on the expensive side but portions are decent and it is delicious
Awesome food late night and waiter was a cool friendly guy. A real hospo character even at 11pm at night
Delicious kebabs worth the dollar, although mine did have paper towel in it which was odd. I'd still go back
