Had a very mixed experience with this branch. When first buy a ring from them, I received great and friendly service and quick delivery.

However less than a month later when my insurance company needed to contact them and organize a replacement. The insurance company and my self were given the aggravating and unnecessary muck around I have ever experienced. We were repeatedly given incorrect information, told things were done when they were not, requested to give the information that had already been give and not recorded, meet with staff that were not properly trained to do there job and generally poor phone service all round.

In the end we did receive our ring and the companies apologies but only after speaking directly to the store manager. What should have been an a straight foward and easy transaction turned into a month long streeful ordeal of long and repeated phone calls and follow ups.

Pascos may provide nice products for a nice price, but this experience has put me off using there services every again.

I chain I bought Xmas Eve as a Xmas gift didn't fit. So boxing day I asked the store for a refund. I was told that their policy states no refunds only store credit. I explained that under the n.z law, consumers guarantee act that I had a right to ask for a refund as the product was mint condition and simply did not fit. The manager told me that the consumers guarantee act is not n.z law, and only applies to buying "big items" like cars etc. I told her I've had no problems getting a refund from stores who have similar policies because Ive returned the item within 7 days as the law allows.

She proceeded to lie to my face and tell me "it's not law" but for this one time only she will give me a refund.

I couldn't be bothered to pull out my phone and show her the consumers guarantee act 1993 that I could easily Google on my phone because I just wanted my money back and she was giving it to me. However,

I do not appreciate being lied to blanket statement to my face.

This is misleading information and is criminal.

And if I had the energy to be bothered I would report you to the police, so instead I've done a review.

I will never shop at any pascoes, because if this is what managers are coached to tell consumer's in new zealand, it is dishonest.

If I could give -5 stars that's what you deserve for breaking the consumers guarantee act law.

Great service from the centre place Pascoes. Have made multiple purchases there don't know the name but one lady think from Philippines is always nice and welcoming, have usually made my purchases off her. Great customer service.

They had the exact watch that I was looking for. We have dealt with Pascoes The Jewellers for the last 45 years and will continue to do so.

Very friendly staff. Didn't have what I wanted but told me where I could get it.
