Don’t go here if you want anyone to actually care about you or your health. All they care about is money. The owner is a rude, selfish, money hungry woman who treats her staff and patients horribly. Awful wait times and awful staff. You will be better off going somewhere else!

I have been with Redicare for over 20 years unfortunately the last five years it has gone down hill. The doctors have been mostly great but the practise is terribly run and the receptionists are exceptionally awful and rude. I am moving to another GP and would no longer recommend Redicare.

Horrible experience almost every interaction. In the past have had medication withheld, receptionist hang up on me, have been told just go to hospital as waits are over a week. I would NEVER recommend this practice to anyone unfortunately.

People are nice however they pretty much refuse to email you back about anything no matter how many times you ask

Dr Khan is the most thorough and helpful GP I’ve come across.
Sadly overall this centre has gone significantly down hill in the last few years. Management are money hungry, won’t take walk ins, will turn away injured children and push an agenda on patients who are settled in their care.

We were stuck in the South Island when I tested positive. Dr YiYi phoned when the report came through from the health service. She did a thorough online consultation and prescribed anti virals. She located a nearby pharmacy, made sure that someone was able to pick them up for me. She checked the following day to ensure I had got them and my condition hadn’t got any worse.
This is smart phone service at its best and Redicare Practices most humane response. I am very impressed and grateful.

I will say to those of my fellow redicare registered or not patients who have obviously shown patience that I agree with your posts there has been a serious decline in the administration staff and I have been part of redicare since 2016 my doctor back then who was excellent to the point of going above and beyond was Dr Naidoo who when coming back from tauranga i found left 2019 the redicare doctors I go to now are brilliant and covid 19 + protocols & the health system have put alot on their plate that's not an excuse just a lens but the reception could do with some empathy or friendly smile ' & wave '
It seems a bad result of management to have good Healthcare professionals juxtaposed with bad Healthcare administration.
I hope it gets better it used to be.
I'm still going though out of loyalty and the doctor I see.

New to Hamilton so registered at Redicare Pleased to say  Dr Khan and the nurses I deal with are  without a doubt the most thorough and professional team of clinicians I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Dr Khans Thoroughness ability & communication  goes far beyond and above expectations of a local GP and the nurses I have dealt with are all very skilled and professional. Can't recommend Redicare enough

Dr Lulu Fu refused medical care to my 5 year old daughter after assuming her vomiting, fever, headaches and swollen eye were a case a covid after saying she would not refuse her medical attention. My child is now at home with no medication and no answer to what is wrong with her. This doctor stormed out of the room and was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Wouldn’t take my kids take my kids back there ever again. I expect better from doctors especially when it comes to treating children.

Literally the worse clinic I have ever been too.
Had to wait over an hour and a half to get seen despite having an appointment, the facility is dirty and stinks and the staff especially reception are rude and don’t seem to care.
I had to ask for a document but the lady told me to get it from the nurses just for me to have to go back to the reception and get it from there.
Was also charged for something that I was told was free. Rang up before hand and asked if there was a fee, got told no, asked the reception got told no, ask the nurses got told no just to then receive a text saying I owed money?
When I asked why they transferred me to a nurse who blatantly said I was lying about them saying it wasn’t going to cost me.
Legit the worse doctors ever.
Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

Use to love seeing our favourite doctor here Dr Daz. But unfortunately last time we went there we discovered he had left. Luckily after a bit of Googling we managed to find him at Tui Parkwood! Stoked to be back under his care.

I rang Redicare and asked for Dr. Daz to get an appointment for my in laws, and I heard he has left Redicare, so I thought to write this review because he has been providing such a great service and care for my in laws for quite sometime. Especially the way he has been providing care for my parents in law has to be much appreciated. He's a good example for the professionalism of a doctor who treats his patients with great care. I should also thank Redicare, for housing such great doctors. We're gonna miss you.

Apologies for the essay. Doctors here used to be great, not anymore.
The reception is something else.
Just read the other reviews and you will get the gist.
10 year patient here. Never coming back. Today was last straw. Booked a booster appointment and had to get time off work for this. Got there, sat and waited an hour, went upto reception to ask if the wait was much longer. They checked their system and was like "oh whoops looks like there's no appointment" and then proceeded to say there no boosters left anyway. What the! I called for an appointment. Reception clearly stuffed up not setting it. Why did they check me in when I got there and said have a seat as if I had an appointment. Then an hour later say no appointment or boosters? 2 young girls at Reception couldn't care less, didn't offer to rebook just literally said ahwell nothing we can do. Maybe tell me I didn't have an appointment when I checked in, secondly maybe tell me there's no boosters left instead of me waiting there when I could have gone back to work.

Terrible service.
Booked online for a child covid 19 vaccination as we needed to have it done at a doctor clinic. Arrived to find about 20 others who had also booked online still waiting, receptionist couldn’t give an indication on wait time just that they only had one nurse on. When I went back up to question the wait after half an hour I was informed the vaccines only just arrived on the courier and the nurse was making them up. We left and went to another clinic and waited only 5 mins.
Also the clinic is dirty and cluttered and the screens around the counter look never to have been cleaned.
Won’t ever be returning.
This facility is obviously not equipped to deal with the online booking system.

I have been in Hamilton for 2 years now. I enrolled to Redicare Family Practice as my GP. Dr Das is my GP since last 1 year. Dr. Das is exceptionally awesome and kind hearted GP. He is very helpful, thorough and phenomenally great personality. Whenever I went to see him with a problem, he has resolved it quickly. He is the best GP in New Zealand from my point of view. Thank you Dr. Das.

Dr Das has been our family GP for 5 years now and we couldn't recommend him more highly. He is always on-time, if not early. He is very understanding of cultural differences and language issues. He is an excellent mental health doctor with knowledge that far exceeds any GP we have ever come across.

The only reason we haven't written a recommendation earlier is that we are scared everyone will find out how amazing he is and it will be harder to get in to see him.

My mother-in-law and myself have chronic health issues and in the past it has been hard to be heard or even at times believed. With Dr Das we always feel heard and he goes far above and beyond to give us regular blood tests, referrals and anything else he feels we may need that would usually get glossed over by other GPs.

I have never said this before about someone in the medical community, but as a family we love and respect Dr Das. Thank you for all that you do for us.

Our family GP (Dr Zitendra Das) practices at Redicare Family Practice,
He is always a pleasure to deal with, we are on a first name basis with Dr Das and feel comfortable during his consultations.
The Receptionist's and nurses at Redicare are also excellent to deal with.
I have full confidence in recommending Dr Das and Redicare to any one who is looking for a new GP Practice.

My son called to make an appointment & outlined his issue & advised them the pharmacy told him he would need antibiotics. When he turned up he was told that his appointment was with a nurse so unable to give prescriptions & would have to make another appointment. While there he asked for toe to be checked due to bruising & was told it was a fungal affection, he got a 2nd opinion from a podiatrist who confirmed it wasn't fungus & was sent to have Xrays. In addition to this he was given antibiotics that what suitable for anyone having or recently had a vaccination.

Use to be a great medical centre but management is useless and the reception staff just claim ignorance.
Have been over charged for appointments during lockdown as "they could not find the payment and I needed to resend an email" which was sent via the contact form on their website. No one seemed to have access to the contact form on the website, including for repeat prescriptions.
When trying to ring them, can sit waiting for 5 minutes but then it will hang up on you. Any other medical centre is better than this one.

Just had a appointment with Dr Das. Worth the pay because he gave me life advice that I will sure follow. Such a friendly and wise Doctor, much respect.
