It's a suitable place for a quick meal, located on a busy corner so auto and pedestrian traffic is high. The food could be better for the price paid.

I'm happy to say that Replete is back to its almost best. I had a lamb shank pie (which I often have when we seldom visit town). It had a splinter of bone in it, which was potentially a tooth breaker, and lots of potatoes which I haven't struck before, but apart from that it was great. Yummiest ever relish, and the coffee was as good as ever.

Every time I'm in Taupo we visit Replete for food. Once again we were not disappointed. Food was great and so was the coffee ️ AAA+

A must visit for me everytime I stop in Taupō. I just get the cabinet food, but it's so good. I get a toasted bap with bacon, a fried egg and cheese along with a long black. Yum! There's also a great store inside that I usually have a nosey through.

First discovered Replete many years ago, after a long interlude searched it out again. A little difficult as the signage is very subtle, arrived 5min before opening and staff flat out putting out seating. Lots of others had the same idea and 15min all outdoor seating was taken. Word obviously gets around that this is a great place for breakfast.

Had a very good brunch here it was hard to make a choice. But we both went for the hotcakes. Coffee excellent on the strong side in case you can’t cope with strong coffee get a single shot. Even the decaf was strong.

Coffee was weak and there a clump of dirt in the mushroom on toast that we unfortunately bit into.

Lunch stop, after a couple of hours driving, you need to stop and refuel.
This is a great place to do it.

This is a favorite place of mine every time we visit Taupo. The food is of the highest quality, healthy, tasty and simple. Highly recommend a visit for breakfast or lunch. You won't be disappointed.

Was so good we went back the next day. Really yummy food, coffee is really really good. Service was fantastic, all the staff were helpful and super friendly. Good value, I even had to buy extras to take home.

Pretty average to be honest, I had the creamy mushrooms on toast and the whole thing was lukewarm at best - the plate was warmer than the food. The taste was ok but bland. My dad had the big breakfast and it was very middle-of-the-road too. I probably wouldn't go back simply due to the quality of the food vs the price, BUT the service and seating was really pleasant. It seemed pretty popular so maybe it was just an off morning for them.

Best cafe in Taupo. Great coffee and amazing food, service is good and in a fantastic location. Eat here often.

This is our go to stop every time we pass through Taupo. Great food and coffee. The shop is also lovely! We were just there on Saturday and I left my wallet behind, not realising until I was half way to Auckland! They very kindly couriered it to me and it has arrived super quick. Thanks so much for the great service!
