Sahara India Indian Restaurant

Wow.so much to say! Its not often you find yourself searching for words that accurately describe such an amazing food experience like Sahara India.

We ordered lamb masalla and butter chicken with rice, a mango lassi and garlic cheese naan. The restaurant had the friendliest staff and the food came quickly, everything was so fresh but let me tell you, that garlic naan bread was so unbelievably perfect, it left my wife and I utterly speechless and begging for more! It was cheesy and lathered with fresh garlic butter, It was love at first bite!

We knew the risks but we did it anyway! We suddenly started dipping the naan into the butter chicken sauce. The flavour was so grand, so heavenly we nearly passed out from sheer flavour overload!

It was unfortunately time leave but fear not; we never leave empty handed! We took a turkish delight to go

Excellent dinner. Staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming and fast. Food was great. Interior was lovely and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit.

Haven’t dined in yet but the takeaway from here is consistently amazing. We have never been let down and have tried a good portion of the menu now. All the curries are delicious but the onion bhaji are the star of the show.

It's really nice to have such friendly service and delicious vegan options. These guys have have become our favourite local takeaway spot.

My husband and I loved our meal. The curry we ordered was fantastic and the plain naan was the best naan we’ve ever had. The plates were hot The service was friendly and attentive too. Would definitely recommend.

Incredible food. Being away from home on a trip to Hobitton, we stumbled upon this place. As we were travelling with a 2 year old — had requested for something non spicy for the kids. And the owner was very accommodating and recommended spicy options for the adults. What a special place.

The wonderful staff made this birthday dinner extra special. Our meals were delicious, the Dahl Makhani was the best I have ever tasted.

Both main courses delicious with just the right amount of spice. Poppadoms were OK but more like supermarket bought ones. Good VFM and would definitely eat here again. Shame it was so quiet, we were the only people eating.

We've had takeaways from Sahara before, however, after dining in today to celebrate a special occasion, I am even more impressed. The food was a 10/10 service with a smile, the dessert was yummy, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you!

Delicious food & wonderful service. Everytime we pass through Cambridge we have to stop in, the food & staff are just that good!

NOT MY REVIEW IN BEHALF.so 25 $ for 10 pieces of paneer in a very runny sauce, not worth a 30-minute wait.better off traveling to hamilton to get 3 for the same price.

Great food, great service. We were driving a long way and stopped in for dinner, we called ahead and asked if we could pre order so that the food would start being cooked and they were very accomodating. Our second time stopping in and won’t be our last!

The owners/workers are really genuine people who like to help the guest (me) get the best value for money.

The worst food I've ever had in my life. The stale chicken tasted almost rotten. Wanted king prawns and ended up up getting the small ones. Biryani? Someone please go tell what that actually is.
