Soul Burger

Great place and great food.

Got the satay burger that was really good they make their own satay which was well balanced and the spice makes it very nice.
Got the nemo also which had a nice battered hoki with a tasty sauce to it.
Got a chocolate shake that was really good, smooth and chocolatey.
The fries I enjoyed, nice seasoning and with the aioli was amazing.

Really friendly staff and chill atmosphere will definatly eat at soul burger again.

The burger I had (The Whanga) was a disappointment. Not exactly sure what it was, but the ingredients didn’t taste fresh and both the patty and the “bacon” (which I gather was Canadian bacon) had a strange chewy texture.

Delicious food, I had the Aloha Mate chicken burger with spud fries, soo tasty and big portions, would definitely eat here again!

We stopped in for a quick lunch whilst in town for the day. Awesome burgers - clean, fresh flavours. And the fries/chips were a tasty treat too. I had the Legend burger (lived up to the name), and she had the Aloha burger - both great burgers. Nice people there, friendly service and great overall great vibe to the place too! We’ll be back

One of the best takeaway options in Whangamata. The staff are always super kind and friendly despite always being extremely busy during the dinner period.
Burgers are pretty huge, definitely filling. Heaps of options for all diets including keto, G. F, and vegan.
On the slightly pricier side, most burgers are around $16 but otherwise great.

Really tasty and original. We took the heavenly and the squeack, and theyre really good and got nice balance. The manager is really kind and really helpul, i got some allergies and he double checked with me if everything was good for me. You Can see the chef cooking their burger with no rush but high qualité Nice and friendly staff also. Im working in a french burger restaurant and i Can Say its a really good burger restaurant. Thanks again!:) It was a fantastic moment After this long rainy day!
Maybe a bit too much salt in the fries, but of course depend of taste. See you!

I was really looking forward to a good burger from a place that specialises in them. Sadly disappointed, very average. Won't be going back

Always fresh and delicious, and one of our favourite reasons to visit Whangamata!

If you love BBQ sauce then you can ask for them to swap out the mustard / aioli / relish that comes as default on almost all the menu options with BBQ instead (which IMHO creates a much tastier burger!)

Loved the Crispy Nemo fish burger, every component was done to perfection and the combination was delicious.

Best burger ever I’m not vegetarian but this halloumi burger (the squeak) is a must try! Between our group, we ordered 4 of these and the lovely lady who served us said she created this burger recipe - she did a great job! 11/10 recommend! We also order 2 sides of fries and the portions were very generous and cooked to perfection!

A fun tasty burger restaurant to eat at, and we were able to sit outside with our dog. It's popular with many people having takeaways, and dining inside. Definitely recommend the food, service and friendly staff.
