Sushi Day

Was my familys favorite sushi shop till today we 5 buy from there multiple times a week.
I stopped in and got 3 sticks of teriyaki chicken 11.30ish which smelt bad of fish to the point we couldn't eat them, I took them back and I was refused a remedy and told no problems lady was yelling at Me saying no one else had issues that day no problem there was nothing wrong with them - refused look at the other two sticks then a guy came and joined her arguing the point.
It was over the top we all loved the sushi shop have eaten there since they opened and KNOW when they don't smell or taste right and for chicken to smell and taste like fish HECKA NO!
After not even being acknowledged about what i was saying just yelled at and told no their customer service is negative one star if I could.

No remedy no money back I would have been happy for a fresh replacement nothing but denial and being yelled at.

I ended up leaving them on the counter and walking out, so sad

A bit more expensive than most sushi shops I've been too, rolls tasted a bit dry but teriyaki chicken on rice was delicious.

Love this place. It is the best place in New Zealand to get Sushi. Nothing else even rates to this place.

Very erratic sushi. Sometimes absolutely beautiful but the last 3 times there has been unidentifiable meat in my sushi and it has been stale. Barely edible, dry, and tough unidentifiable meat with an odd flavour. Be very wary!

Like all the other reviews says, staff are really rude and unhelpful. There is a lot of broken English spoken. Wouldn't recommended.

Best sushi shop in Hamilton! I loved the new variety of sushi they had since the lock down and how they took special orders when I asked at the counter. DELICIOUS

My daughter loved the king prawn, and the fresh salmon sushi. I personally had the teriyaki chicken which was also amazing. The staff were really nice, especially the young lady serving us.

Prices are okay, but definitely worth it as the quality of food you are getting is stunning.

High quality of food, well served. Prices were very reasonable/cheap for the high quality of food you are getting. Absolutely loved what I ordered. Would definitely recommended

Absolutely enjoyed the riceballs, rice trays, and the teriyaki chicken. Great customer service, very affordable cheap prices, very friendly staff that is willing to go the extra mile. Honestly, this is my one stop place for Asian cuisine.

Great selection of food. I had the sweet and spicy chicken for lunch and it was marvelous. The price was also very fair. Coming here you definitely wont regret it.

Very limited selection, they wouldnt take orders at 5pm, after work, and there is a serious language barrier when you order
