Lovely food. I asked for medium hot. It was spicey. I enjoyed it alot. Fresh veges, seafood.

I ordered Entrees Fish Cakes as a takeaway today. They were thin, rubbery and greasy. I simply could not eat them. Would not recommend!

We ordered two standard curries today. Nice taste, but we were quite disappointed by the small amount of vegetables in the curries and the size of the portions. Especially the rice was not enough (a quarter of what we get at other restaurants). For this price we would expect more.

Good and prompt service. Still not as good as the food I had in Thailand but I will be dine there again as it is my local.

A lunch time visit.so not many customers. Service and food absolutely tops. Happy to visit any time, and recommended. Great menu.

Small portions. Hardly any flavour. Not worth the price I paid for it. Quite disappointed unfortunately.

Loved everything about our visit. Not too noisy, lovely background music, delicious food and great service. We didn't have to wait very long for the food either. Great puddings as well. I tried the deep fried chocolate ice cream. My husband had sticky black rice. Both yummy.

Nice ambience and food but the wait time is/was excessive. 1 hr 20 min before we got our food eventually. They did give us some complimentary spring rolls but still quite a while to wait. Hopefully it was a one off as food was worth going back for

Such a shame! We have had Thai orchid numerous times and what the heck has happened to your Pad Thai? ! We ordered $50 worth of food and half of it was such a let down we ended up sharing 1 meal on our anniversary:/
Pad thai was gluggy and overcooked- noodles were well over cooked and all we could taste was fishy over powering taste (we did have prawns) but there was so much runny liquid that literally tasted like old fish water. Safe to say this was not eaten. This was an uber order 19/08/2020

Ordered a pad Thai, they said it would be half an hour but ended up being almost an hour. Then the dish I got was nothing like pad Thai. I phoned to check if they made a mistake, no turns out they just don't know how to make pad Thai, thought it was a pretty basic Thai dish. They offered to make it again, but I'm already home late to watch the league. Sorry but don't call it pad Thai if you going to make some weird infusion.

Terrible, the lamb and entrees were tolerable but the cripsy pork was not even eatable, couldn't barely bite into it was so chewy,

This has been an old time favourite Thai restaurant that we havent had the opportunity to get to for so long. But we made sure to have a very special birthday there, the food and service were excellent, such awesome hosts whom let us decorate and hide away a cake. Everything was perfect and it made my mum's night, thank you so much to the team at Thai Orchid

The food and everything was pretty average. The tempura veggies were the best out of everything we got. My main took over an hour to come out but tasted good.

What a hidden gem. Really friendly staff. Food was fresh clean, authentic.and super tasty. Great energy in this place. Highly recommended

Ordered a green curry and was overcharged a dollar from the price on their takeaway menu, mentioned it but the guy was just silent and waited for me to pay. Had to pay extra for rice. Got home and the green curry I’d ordered was yellow and the receipt said 1x royal peanut. Too hot for medium spice but it did taste really good. Probably won’t go back after this initial experience. It’s a shame because I had a lot of good thai in different parts of America but can’t find a good one in Hamilton, let alone reasonably priced for how satiating the meal usually is. Two thai places within a km of my house have been disappointing now. I’ll stick to Indian cuisine, you get a lot more for $20.50 and the order is always comprehended fully.

Not quite as good as expected. Had Mussaman curry and Pad Thai with not much traditional taste. Checked to see if restaurant was BYO and advised it was. BUT Shocked to be charged $7.00 per person for Byo charge, expected maybe $6 or $7 per couple as have happily paid at other Byo restaurants. $14 is OVer the top. Wont be back.

Be wary of the beef salad, hot. Unless you're a seasoned chilli eater you might want to bring a fire extinguisher.otherwise wait for the endorphins to kick in

Nice cosy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was beautifully presented
and very tasty. Staff were extremely polite and welcoming.

Curries were delicious. Good service. Spring rolls did not taste authentic and I think they came out of a box that you would buy in the frozen section of the supermarket.
