Couldn't fault this store. Kept me always up to date with delivery, had lowest freight costs and the items arrived in a battered old box but well packed.

Absolutely terrible service in store. Was completely ignored by the guy behind the counter. Not even any acknowledgment when I walked in. I then said to him let me know when you’re free. Still no acknowledgment. Thankfully another guy came along and was helpful. Someone either needs a new job or to be hidden away in back.

My wife bought our son and I a new electronic drum kit as a Birthday present from these guys. We were all pretty excited.

Setting it up, I noticed the factory sealed bags had already been ripped open. Once set up I could see that the kit had obviously been played and it even had the $999 in-store price stickers on it. The kick was faulty as was the headphone jack and it had scratches on the frame.

They admitted it was a demo kit after I provided photos and they offered a refund, different kit as they didn't have another the same or $100 off. I'd no time nor will to deconstruct it and return it as I live out of town, nor did I want a different kit so reluctantly opted for $100 off. That was back in April (5 months ago) and haven't seen the money or heard back.

I feel ripped off as I paid $1000 for a new kit, but was given a faulty, damaged second-hand demo drum kit. Just seems very underhanded.

I ended up pretty disappointed as it should have been a simple transaction. Of course it was just my bad luck to get a bum deal the first time I tried a new music store after we'd saved up for ages.

The worst part was seeing my son's disappointment because he could see I was disappointed. But why offer to try and make things right and then don't?

Was supposed to be a brand new item. Sub was dirty and dusty. The box had been opened before. Instructions were not in plastic bag as well as power cord. I was offered discount on next purchase as compensation, which I won't do or send back for a refund, which would have been a hassle as there were no more available. Then I was asked what I expected to happen. After a few emails it was suggested that we go our own ways. Emails to prove it. Cleaned my sub and it came up ok. Delivery communication was good.

These guys are fantastic. Quick response time, straight to the point, product exactly as advertised.very very happy. Will definitely do business with them again. Highly recommended.

Super fast delivery. I ordered late in the afternoon not expecting to ship the same day, but at 5pm I got a message that not only had it been shipped, but it had also been picked up. And at 10am this morning, what's on my doorstep? Brand new Audient Evo 4. Good price too - great interface at a good price. And packaging? In the original shipping packaging. So new it hadn't even come out of the outer shipping box. Stoked. Can't wait to use it. Kinda wish I'd got the mic from them too right now, because I'd be set up by the weekend, but hindsight is 20/20 or something. I might have paid a bit more than from Amazon AU, but my first impressions here are that The AV Store are where I should have paid the extra to get the other stuff.

And people. Honestly. Being able to ship something on the same day has, in my experience, not been something you can expect to happen. I'm resigned to this now, so The AV Store have exceeded my expectations.

Anyway, would recommend, in future if I'm buying audio gear I'm using The AV Store.

Update: I did end up cancelling my Amazon order for my other stuff and bought it from the AV Store. Same super fast service with great communication. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Despite me being in Auckland, went through them because they had the best price online and free shipping. Courier dropped the ball a bit on pick-up but they even offered to drop it off at the depot to get it shipped even faster. Great service, best price, would happily use them again.
