Wagon Wheel Lunch Bar reviews
52My Fave! Everything is lovely! Took my son (grown man) who said he could feel the love at this place! Pretty Awesome!
If you want choice, this is the place. Pies are fabulous, Chelsea buns, donuts and muffins delicious. Some things not so great but overall excellent bakery cafe. Coffee's good too.
We had a pickup dinner for 18 at Lockerbie Village. The talking volume dropped as everyone tucked into dinner. Great value. All comments were positive. Will do again
Wagon Wheel is by far the best bakery in the area. Pie flavours that extend to such exotics as Brisket & Watercress, donuts as good as anywhere, cakes that get devoured as soon as you're home & a variety of home bake biscuits. I'd like to see more effort put into coffee but this is Morrinsville, I think the owners know their market.
I didn't go in - took a friend and she marvelled at the variety that was on offer, she was spoilt for choice was what she said
Love the food. Had a delicious pie, the hot chips were yummy and the portion was huge. Loved the Chelsea bun as well. Well worth the visit.
Food used to be good. Less and less filling in pies and filled rolls. Pies burnt to a crisp, chicken dry as. Then there's the service, same lady serves me 3 weekends in a row, same 4 items purchased each weekend, 3 different prices.
Aside from this, it's a relatively nice place to stop
A very busy cafe and lunchbox and popular with all the locals. We enjoyed our lunch at the outside tables where our dog could join us
Really great people, good food value for money! You won’t be disappointed in the prices or quality of food?
Heaps to choose from, but some looked like it'd been there for a while, coffee was good, service was great
Pie looked like it had been sitting there all day hard and dry, the filling was sludgy like mud. Unhygienic dining, dishes everywhere, dirty tables and birds inside! Staff incompetent with no social skills!
Delicious goodies at very affordable prices. You should not miss this out when you go to Morrisville.
The best bakery in Morrisville great staff friendly happy bunch so love the boilup pies they make you want to eat them all so addicting
Rubbish. Over rated. Not sure why all the praise for this place, maybe it was good once, but it isn't now. Dry pie which I think was $5, and a filled roll in yesterday's bread. Not overly impressed!
Excellent variety of cabinet foods from hot fries & pies, fresh sandwiches, desserts to hot drinks. Quality is great and the parking and layout is very convenient.
An amazing array of cakes, cream horns (my fav as a child) and have never come across since until now, the doughnuts looked great, slightly Chrisp on outside and inside, and much more.
My go to when driving by, a box of dub dubs and a coffee to keep the nurses at my hospital happy. No fuss, reasonably priced grass roots bakery
Visited here for the first time. Had a Cappuccino and a Danish sweet to have there. Not an enjoyable or impressive experience. Family frequent here and have given rave reviews about the place but we didn’t see any of that when we were there. Everyone has an opinion but it’s Not a place we would visit again.
Food was terrible. My chocolate lamingtons was hard and dry. We wanted to use the restrooms, but the woman said we had to go across the road to the pub.
Pardon me
Wagon Wheel I'm only giving you a star because I can't write a review with none.
We stopped to buy a box full of cakes as a special treat for our grandkids, we completely understood and accepted that we were not going to be able to fill the box ourselves, but SHAME on you Wagon Wheel! One of our choices, a custard square, was so off it and the cakes it had touched in the box had to go straight in the rubbish. There is absolutely no way the person serving us could have lifted that custard square out of the cabinet without noticing the icing was grey and cracked and the custard was hard, had changed colour and it too was cracked and separated in several places. But still you put it in our box, said nothing and charged us for it! You obviously don't care about customer satisfaction or return business nor do you care about the disappointment in our house when there weren't enough cakes for everyone to have one each. What a disgraceful way to run a business, we were loyal customers and recommended you to everybody, but you'll never catch us out again, we're not coming back.
