Dianne the receptionist may need to reevaluate her customer service skills. Maybe a course could help her improve. I would never want a receptionist like that at my business. She’s rude, and just actually makes me feel uncomfortable. I’ve witnessed her argue with multiple patients in real life and on the phone she’s not any better. Have been with the GP practice since I was a baby and I’ve never experienced such bad behaviour and attitudes.

So I will be finding another medical centre rung last Tuesday for appointment told nothing available till next Thursday the following Tuesday comes get message saying doctor sick try ringing next week and might get an appointment just as well I'm just after a prescription but looking at the reviews this appears to be a regular thing

Honestly haven't been registered with them long but everytime I've gone in it hasn't been the most welcoming. Tried 2 docs there and prefer Dr Shiri Chand. I don't go much but like that it's local to me & affordable. I don't like not getting set 1 doctor to stick to, you can pick who. I had booked online through the manage my health app to get there today to be told "oh did you not receive the text, the doctor isn't in he's been away 4 weeks". No I did not receive the text so thankyou for wasting my morning and time and I should not have been able to book with him in the first place. Left very grumpy and unhappy. Feel very put off this place now.

Have been with them for more then 5years, just missed one appointment and they asking me to pay for it. I mean I'm sure no one would like to loose their long-term client.
Just worse service ever.
Like I was sick 2 weeks ago and upon ringing I got the appointment after 2weeks, so definitely by then I recovered.
Wish we had zero stars to give.

I don't think it's fair to have to wait nearly 3 hours after the phone consultation for a childs prescription to be sent out for a inhaler! AND STILL WAITING! It is then rude of the receptionist to get upset at the fact I have to keep ringing to see where it is! I understand these times are difficult but 3 hour wait is ridiculous

Sukana, Dr Opey & Dr Mandeep are great! They listen - actually listen & work with you for a solution. Doctors are great, the whole team here are welcoming and will assist where possible - You wont be disappointed.

Kiaora Westend Medical Centre! It gives me no great pleasure to be writing an appalling & bad review based on my experience with a practitioner within this medical centre. Firstly, I would like to stress at the fact that during my first appointment while explaining to Dr S. Chand about my previous injury to the knee. I had requested a second opinion and was turned down due to my medical records being in Auckland. That's fine, but when came to booking an appointment on the 28th June '21 and attending the appointment, my medical files from Henderson Medical Centre, obviously this time the second opinion was totally different to what the previous doctor had said back up in Auckland. Furthermore, I am absolutely terrified and annoyed at the fact that I was told that "we're running out of time" despite me having a list going through certain details of my health and well-being. A doctor should NEVER have to tell a patient that were running out of time, especially if you are not 100% well and showing signs of coughing, sore throat, etc. I didn't even get to explain or have a proper check up from my previous diagnostic of having tonsillitis by this practitioner. Any way, I rated it 2 star as Shaw at the reception has been really helpful & pretty much a nice guy. Don't get me wrong, Dr Chand maybe a nice person outside of the medical centre but I am absolutely frustrated at the fact that this is the second time that this has happened to me at Westend Medical Centre. I believe it just goes to show it's all about the $. So I am seriously thinking of looking for a different practitioner within the same medical centre or a proper medical centre with doctors who doesn't mention things like were running out of time in terms of your own health. Thanks!

This practice is a joke. A doctor that never turns up and one who doesn’t listen! My partner had an appointment for 9.30am and was home by 9.40am. You don’t even get your 15 mins anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone.

My Partner has Terminal cancer and I rang to get a prescription for her pain relief but because she has a bill that she carnt pay till Wednesday the receptionist wouldn't give her a script. I asked her to speak to the Doctor about it so she doesn't have to suffer with the intense pain for 2days and the bloody women hung up on me. This Medical center is all about the money not the people and that receptionist should be sacked. Its bloody disgusting.

Doctors are great, the whole team here are welcoming and will assist where possible to help you. You wont be disappointed.

After being with westend for atleast 12 years I am looking to change as I am unhappy with the service. I had 3 appointments cancelled while I was suffering from a flu over winter and I dont feel any of my recent problems have been resolved and i also feel nervous discussing my issues as I feel I am being judged. Other than that the new Dr Mandeep is okay cant say the same for the other Dr though.

This clinic is going down as all good doctors, nurses and reception people left looks like. No one answers the phone when u call. Noone even calls back after leaving message. Very disappointed with their service now.

Changed over recently to this medical center. Have seen Dr Ope, who was very kind and professional. The receptionist is also very welcoming and helpful. Happy to return for my medical needs.

Great service I just listened a lady on voice mail. Saying she has not heard from me for a long time and it would be a great idea to have a heart check. I have not seen them for over 5 years and recently got a letter from them I have not sent it back yet. I had better make an appointment to see them. They will always be my doctor

The doctors are good here. Listen to us. Mixed experience with reception. Dr Zak is awesome. So does Dr Satcha.

Just switched to this center as it is closer to my new house. After years of knee pain and multiple doctors just throwing pain meds at me Dr Zak sent me straight away for x-rays and I now have an actual diagnosis and am on a wait list for the hospital. I know she actually read my file too as she bought up things that happened in my teens. Very thorough and because of this I am very happy. Best move I ever made.

Ive been with the team for many years and have only received genuine care from all. I have not thought of moving while here in Waikato. Dr Zak thank you for your care and helping me on my way to a better life when I first started. Thank you for also introducing me to Dr Satisha. This expressionist of womans blessings heal me not just through medicine but her smile and the tone she sets is beautifully beautiful.the nurses, Dalwin you have been there through thick and thin and I appreciate you soooo much after everything. And my new friend Gavin.you are full of natural mystic and heavenly aroha. Gavin your more then a frontliner, you know us you engage with us, you take extra steps to ensure we are safe comfortable and well even when we're I'll. You have created a family environment and I don't feel like a number.know you are all special in this world and your works don't go unnoticed. The Mean Dream Team

Just signed up last week after being with Te RengaRenga around corner from this one. Love my doctor and I am finally on track to sorting all my issues out that my last doctors lack. Love how I can get an appointment same day or next day as well.
