Everything about this place is just amazing, portions are nice and the food is absolute perfection.if your looking for somewhere to eat dinner at this is the place to go

Mercury Bay Club darts section thoroughly enjoyed our competition at the Whagamata Club.

An incredible space. It has everything from a great bar and friendly service, large restaurant with consistently lovely meals, pool tables, fantastic meat raffles, great comoradery and now a fabulous outdoor non smoking area to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink. Looking forward to summer drinks & meals here again this year.

Always a friendly place with lots to do. Bar, kitchen, sports on tv, pool and snooker and darts.and pokies to play too.

Brought the family here for dinner on Friday night in the middle of Beach Hop. The queue to order dinner was non stop the whole time we were there.
We thought it would take awhile to get dinner being so busy, however the food came very quickly, and it was delicious! Couldn't rate them high enough! Would definitely come back and recommend anyone to go.

Love this place, great food, great times, our local when in Whangamata, especially love the new outdoor area in summer to enjoy.

This is a great place, friendly, exceptional food and service, very Kiwi styled.

The team behind the bar and in front are great.

Good sports TV venue.

Thoroughly recommend.

Air conditioning really helps.

Raffles for meat and scollaps are run 3 times a week.

Excellent club, bar, coffee available and a great restaurant clean modern toilet, live music, pool tables, child friendly. Plenty of parking.

I organized a family reunion with the Club. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Good venue for what we did. Catered for all age groups.

Nice selection of beer on tap and reasonably priced. Lots of dart boards (take ur own darts) and pool tables both of which are free to use while you have a nice cold pint. I'll be back.

A very nice meal for a family of four. The kids were happy with their meals and so we're Mum and Dad. All of us had with a drink each with dinner and all up not much over $100 so excellent value for money. The service was excellent with a smile, the premises were very clean and tidy. We will most definitely be back, thanks for a lovely family evening.

Great food, my hubby and I went for dinner it was delicious, and we are both hard to please when it comes to food! I had lamb shank my hubby had seafood chowder and pork belly-yum! …. Staff were lovely too. Will go back there for dinner next time, better than the other cafes, trust me

The fish and chips were lovely nice crispy batter good serving.
The chicken tenders looked nice too

The people at Whangamata Club were so welcoming when we dropped by whilst visiting from Kapiti Coast. We were warmly greeted at the door, our credentials checked, red light protocols explained and then shown around the club.

We enjoyed our drinks in the sunny lounge area, where excellent wi-fi (unavailable at our accomodation due to patchy service) enabled us to catch up on a pile of emails!

Our meal was fabulous. My husband ordered salmon on potato mash and mine was yummy mussel fritters served with a delicious, fresh salad.

So thank you, Whangamata Club, for making our evening such a lovely experience- it’s the little things, like your friendly staff’s warm smiles, that make such a difference!

Another great value tasty meal. We both had the scotch filet.lovely and tender. The ice cream sundae was a great finish to a good night. Very friendly staff. Our favourite restaurant out of all the clubs in Whangamata.

A lovely meal good to see we were required to produce vaccination passes to enter the premises.
