Yogiji's Food Mart reviews
42I’ll never but mehndi again.i bought for karwachuth i spend my 2hrs to draw it & at the end no colour
A huge variety of spices and other ingredients, especially for Asian/Indian food.
There are some other items like pots and pans too.
The blokes in there are legends, I'm in a wheelchair and they helped me out, made sure I had everything from my recipe as I went. Super helpful.
One the most expensive grocery shop in whole New Zealand I will say. Compare to other local store its double price. Shame on you guys for ripping everyone of. Never going there back and not recommending to anyone. Spent somewhere you will get more grocery.
Clean and tidy but getting expensive every time I go. Some time expires stuff in aisle. Overall ok ok experience. Need to improve. Jay wake up. Staff need be more professional and polite and knowledgeable.
It is a departmental store in Frankton, Hamilton. This shop is a treasure for Indians especially North Indian who lives in Newzealand under various circumstances. Indian spices are all fresh here. Rice, wheat, cooking oil including all cooking ingredians are being sold here. Very friendly atmosphere. Suitable and helpful for all Indians who are far away from their motherland.
Extremely poor customer service.
The girls at the billing counter are always grumpy and give a rude face to the customers. It is like I am going there for begging. They neither give a smile to the customers nor say 'thanks'. Whenever I do purchase in Yogiji, I come back with extreme dissatisfaction and it is really annoying.
Getting some indian stuffs from Hamilton Yogijis which are not available in Auckland indian stores. Thanks to Yuvraj.
Good store with many options. Though they are not cheapest in the town for the Indian products, they have reasonable collection. They have good deals lately.

I had expiry thing. They refund me and was sooo sorry about it. And took action straight away.
The staff there are soo fantastic.
The manger is soo Lovely.
Its okay, but still need update more as it is expensive and most products has less expiry date.
Be careful on the expire date of the products. A lot of Indian food stuffs available. Better check the date and pick the items.
Clean and tidy place to shop Asian grocery.some packed products are past their use date. I find everything I need in one place. Easy parking available. Fresh samosas and dhokla also available sometimes.
I like the friendly and helpful staff. Honestly don't mind the extra mile of going to this outlet. Well organized and neatly arranged. Keep up the good work.
Plenty of Asian goods to choose from. Focus is on south Asian stuff. I have found most things we would find in south Asia here - of course cant expect everything. We migrated to earthenware for our cooking recently and could find everything in this store - from pans, to serving dishes. Also plenty of new born and toddler foods available. They also sell hot samosas - personally i find them to be the best in Hamilton, though a bit smaller on size.
This place makes me remind of my home. Thank you for providing all types of food and spices. The best
One stop to shop for the indian groceries. Very tidy place with friendly team brings joy to the visit. Almost all the ingredients available to make indian dishes. Good work Yogiji!
My husband and I have spent a lot of time in India over the years and as nzs we love going to shop in this store.
Good parking.
Huge range and for westerners Yogi is very happy to have staff translate for you and find the item you need.
Always friendly helpful.
Best samosas we've ever tasted.
Some prices seem a bit high compared to India, but maybe that's the costs etc to get them to nz.
Huge store every time you go you'll find something new.
Far cheaper than buying western packaged sold identical items eg grains dhal etc.
Thankyou for the joy your store brings us and your kindness.
