Arabica Cafe

Loved their coffee, it had a humming vibe, easy to get to, staff attentive, a great way to start the day.

Quite disappointed with the cost vs the size and quality of the meal. Got the steak salad which was underwhelming and friends scrambled eggs didn’t look that appealing for what she paid

Had a turmeric latte (can’t often find them), and a chilli and feta scone which was really light (and large). Good value and good service.

Honestly, dining here was the most confusing experience. We tried to order drinks from the menu but my red wine came out as a white wine. When I queried it, they tried to argue that it was the wine I ordered, eventually caving and telling me they don't have any red wine because they don't sell enough. Fair enough, but take it off the menu and don't argue with me about the white wine being what I ordered. I then tried to order a beer, they explained there were only two in the fridge of differing types, and as much as I tried to order the other beer, they ignored me and insisted I have this one specific beer. I gave up. Not to mention there was a price difference, and they weren't forthcoming with offering me a refund for the price difference even though they failed to tell me when ordering my chosen drink wasn't available which was evidently common knowledge to the team. And finally my beer didn't arrive until we had finished our meal and wanted to leave even though the place was very empty. Honestly the whole situation was confusing and frustrating and I didn't understand why they were so argumentative when we were just trying to make the limited options work. Which was a shame because the food was nice and came out quickly.

Food is well below average for the price, everything was under seasoned. Pretty sure my kranskys were heated in the fryer making them quite slimy.

Lattes are very large, or they do bowls if you want to drink your breakfast. Ask for a tulip or point to the smaller flat white cups if you want to taste the coffee though.
Toasted chicken and cranberry panini’s were delish.

3rd visit to Wellington, our go to Cafe in Central Wellington. Can't say enough. Just go visit.

I hadn't been to this cafe for years. The owners/staff were very friendly and attentive. The coffee was nothing special. The cafe is still a haunt for surrounding office workers. But considering this and that some people would want something from the cabinet, the cabinet was bare. The poached eggs and bacon while reasonably priced were nothing special. Bland. The heyday of Arabica has obviously passed

My work team and I come in to Arabica several times a week - every Tuesday we turn up with 14 labelled coffee cups, which would throw anyone into a fuss, but these guys sort us out in great time all with a smile! They are awesome in here, would definitely recommend.

Lovely service and good food, I personally like my bacon well done but next time I'll ask for it that way.

I'd give them a 2.5 because it was better than a 2 but not quite good enough for a 3. Did not meet our expectations at all. The food was not up to the standard we expected for the price. $17 for an eggs benedict that felt more like cheap diner food. It wasn't bad food but compared to what they charge for it, it was pretty disappointing. There was a very long wait time too. Which wouldn't have mattered so much if the food was great but there's nothing worse than receiving average food after a long wait! It didn't seem that busy yet it was still quite chaotic. Overall we were pretty dissapointed with our experience and wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered the homemade hash stack. Was told they had run out of homemade hash browns but they do have normal hashbrowns. Food was so good, real bacon and poached eggs were runny, just perfect. The hashbrowns could have been a little bigger though. They were the little triangle kind. Food arrived in a timely manner (they were busy) and staff were friendly. Great service, I would definitely go back.

Standard fare. Nice and warm. Nothing to make it stand out to much except perhaps location and comfort.

The service was so lovely here and the breakfast food was nice too. It was one of the only places we could find open on a Saturday morning at that end of town. Glad we did find it though because we went back again on Monday. A bit more of a casual dining experience.

Nice place to eat.soup is highly recommended. New Indian Punjabi owners are great and especially the Guy in coffee shop is amazing.very professional and welcoming. I think other staff should learn from him.

Awesome food, and best customer service. I havnt had a better mango frappe in a long time. Thanks to everyone Varun, Priyanka and Arjun you guys are awesome at what you do. Highly recommend to eveyone. They have a vast menu encompassing so many dishes to choose from.
