Aroy Thai Eatery - Lower Hutt

Great food and a tidy setting but a little sterile feeling. Food still excellent, though recieved my main before my entre Went back and received entre and main at the same time.

Felt like having Thai food. Self-order kiosk gave the ease of fast food place, service was warm as the neighbourhood restaurant in a close knit community. Loved the experience.

Beautiful venue, and great food. Very big portions and spicy is spicy! Drinks are a bit on the pricey side however the price of a big meal ($20 for mine) balances this out.

We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was surprisingly quiet, which sort off worked out as we had forgotten to book and had a fairly large party.

More good food, delivered to the table in record time, consistent with other Aroy restaurants. Great place to grab a meal before a movie, as you can rely on speedy service.

Used delivery tonight. Ordered green curry mild but got very spicy so was not enjoyed and wasn’t eaten. The other meal came mild as requested

The best ever. Soo fast but such good quality food. Staff are awesome and I come back all the time.

Pretty consistent quality. Great flavours, quick service. Aroy's decor should be a model for all takeaway restaurants. It's clean well spaced out and modern looking, one of the best in the Hutt.

Ordered online and the order still wasn’t ready 20 mins after the pick up time. Turns out they “accidentally” gave it to delivereasy. Useless service, made me wait even longer and offered no compensation

This place is so Kool, munchies was on point, crispy pork pad Thai, curry puffs, n roti, service was prompt.

The Tai combination was $17. Asked for less noodles.it was full of noodles hardly any vegetables. Rice noodles thick & wide. Not much meat. It looked like it had been heated in a microwave. The thick noodles were stuck to the lid. Very disappointing. When she said it would be ready in 10mins. I couldn't believe it. It wasn't even nice to est.

Pad Thai delicious but the basil beef resembles Chinese takeaway due to the way they tenderise the meat. Have had better at other Thai restaurants

Amazing food here! Highly recommend trying the Crispy Pork with Bok Choy! Great taste and the crackling is out of the world!

Sadly 2* for the soup, it was good. The rest of the dish we tried was disappointing, bland, lack seasoning & meat tasted like they were straight out of the freezer. Will go again in the near future to see if there's any changes.

Went to the store today quarter to 9. It says 9 closing. So we entered the store for a take away. The other staff said they can still do take away and then the one from the kitchen said the kitchen is already closed. Miscommunication at its finest and the no apologies. They both looked like they've been disturbed. Very disappointing.

Amazing spicy pork belly with basil. Authentic and very delicious. Upper Hutt, Porirua, and lower Hutt branches are excellent but I would avoid the Wellington branch.

Horrible service. My son and I thought we'd dine-in so we ordered Massaman chicken curry. The staff were rude and abrupt when taking our order and seemed like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for cups for our drinks: they simply frowned and pointed at where the cups were located, which we had to get ourselves. Then when the food finally came out 25mins later, they forgot to give us knives or forks and seemed very angry when I went to the counter to ask for some. Overall a horrible experience, stay away.

Just ordered food from AROY Thai Lower Hutt via deliver easy, and it was delicious! Would definitely order from there again

Average food, def had better thai food at same price range, ordered pad thai beef and pepper beef rice the beef was dry, the place was very aesthetic tho ngl i kinda wish i got macca's instead;-;

Headed there as a big group. The staff were so welcoming and food came mostly on time. The place is very nice and well decorated with a modern finish.
