Love the place cute and busy and great food. Chubby foh barista guy should work on his customer service skills and stop chatting and move faster. Too much gossiping and fluffing around the foh do. They forgot my order which was a toasted panini because they were too busy chatting and not paying attention to doing their jobs. They were chatting with a couple for 15mins ignoring other customers orders. Reset your foh staff they lack professional work skills in hospitality.

Had the steak and cheese pie and my partner and I had a caramel latte each. Service, coffee and pie were all amazing! One of the best pies I've had in a while, will definitely be back, cheers team!

Ordered two meals. Served too far apart and the chicken soup tasted like their pumpkin soup with some chicken thrown in

Don’t get the big breakfast panini. Overpriced no bacon. Not what you expect from $14 panini. Coffee was good

Fantastic eggs, great coffee and fast service. All the cabinet food looked pretty amazing too and my daughter loved her pie. Will definitely be coming back!

Yes very good array of cabinet food. The inside could do with a tickle up. The toilet was off the kitchen and very dirty. It needs to be brought up to a good hygiene standard.

One of the few places in Wellington that do a simple, delicious pancake stack with butter and maple syrup. Would be even better if it was authentic maple syrup.

Another great little cafe some of the best pies in wellington, not the cheapest but well worth th price!

Good friendly service really good food great variety. Good small cafe with a comprehensive menu mainly breakfast through lunch.

Lovely service at the Blue Belle Cafe, and the food is delicious.
They make a really good cappuccino with cinnamon sprinkles.
A must for anyone visiting Island Bay.
Highly recommended.

Meh. Took ages to get an alright coffee (by WGTN standards) and an alright wrap.

Had to sit through listening to the two staff at the front talk rather loudly about how the customer is not always right - no idea what triggered that.

Does that mean my average coffee and average wrap was my fault ‍️

Wonderful little cafe. I've had scrambled eggs on toast, with bacon on the side, probably a thousand times in my lifetime (an lived to tell the tale)... And the soft scrambled eggs on homemade crispy sourdough wheat toast, with a mound of bacon on the side... Was the BEST I'VE HAD IN MY 66 YEARS. No kidding. And GREAT coffee. Friendly staff, laid back, just lovely all around. Don't miss this little gem of a place.

Terrible service and food. How hard is it to heat a filo pastry? Won't be recommending this cafe to others!

My initial visit was for a caramel latte and got chips. The food was great and the staff were happy and smiling. The food options on display were plentiful. Thank you for making my first visit a happy one.

Great selections of hot food, cabinet food and drinks both, hot and cold! I recommend the jar of Russian fudge on the counter ($4 for a sizeable block that is very more-ish!).

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the service is impressive as it's always a popular café with a queue!

Great local cafe. Good counter food and a classic menu of brunch/lunch meals. Makes a great selection of home made pies - to eat in/takeaway, or frozen to reheat later.
