BNZ Lower Hutt reviews
14Long waiting time for simple task and verification of ID/address proof. Even after verification my account is still not activated due to some block and after following upon customer service told me to visit the branch again although I had clearly asked last time if they need anything else from me. Poor service. Need prompt staff at this brach.
Long waiting time for a simple verification of address. Requested a new card to be sent to me, they sent the wrong type of card and I'm now going overseas with a soon to be expired debit card. Shocking!
I didn't have to wait at all, the woman at the entrance is very pleasant and efficient. She handles my issue and answers all my questions clearly. My favourite BNZ agency.
All these ratings seem very deserving and accurate. If you want a time warp into the archaic banking system of the old world, look no further.
Very disappointed with the staff. I visit the lower branch to help my friend because he can’t speak English. When I told the lady I need bank statement she was soo rude
I haven’t seen her name but he looks like Indian
He should change her behaviour or bnz should terminate her
I should close my account with BNZ
Understaffed which makes wait times for simple things extremly long. Several staff here, but it seems only 1 is able to actually do anything. Avoid if you can.
Went to this branch on monday morning.only one staff with long que.almost all branches closed. We have work too.
I went to bank to verify my identity. Waited an hour and still had 2 people in front of me. About another 6 waiting after me. The two tellers were run off their feet. Not enough staff to meet demand. I left as I couldn't wait any longer. Poor service!
I came to the branch this morning to have the work done, the staff gave me the excellent service. BNZ the most truthful Bank!
Everytime I go to this specific branch I have a bad experience. I genuinely dread going when I have to.
They are severely under-staffed resulting in large wait times (i.e. Waiting more than 20 minutes to do a simple task). They have a terrible physical layout. I have also dealt with inexperience staff where I had to tell them what to do on their computer system. I have dealt with rude staff here as well, specifically they were be-littling me and overexplaining things despite me saying that I understand.
Also their inability to adapt adaquently to these unprecedented times shows me that the branch has no interest in providing a good customer service experience. Other competitor banks have a queuing system outside with a bank teller coming outside periodically to triage the customers, as some people may have a smaller task then others that can be processed quicker. This bank does nothing like that.
I am waiting from last 45mins just to activate my new BNZ account debit card.
Since closing down few branches in Wellington the service has gone extremely down in other operating branches. Less staff and lot of customers in the branch.
Very disappointing. Hope this gets improved soon or end up loosing customers.
BNZ Lower Hutt has the worst setup - You are confused as to who to go too when you walk in the door then you have to wait nearly an hour to be seen for basic things that can't be dealt with on the phone always only one person or two on the counter - Last time I was there 3 elderly ladies were shafted in the line because they were standing for half an hour than sat down and someone took their place - It's really disappointing Never experienced this with other banks
The instore experience today combined with the BNZ business team letting me down a lot recently has unfortunately meant I am switching banks. I've had my personal banking with BNZ for years and have otherwise been happy. I just don't think their branches and head office are equiped to serve business.
