Brumby's Karori reviews
11Was very dissapointed. I bought a steak pie but it had so little steak in it i would not have been able to guess what flavour it was - mainly just gravy, and it wasnt very hot either. Also i bought a tea cake which they told me had apple and walnuts in but it didnt have any walnuts, and didnt feel very fresh. I doubt i will buy anything there again.
They didn't know where their meat comes from at all. The pies are not worth $7.00 they were under cooked half filled with mince.no cheese at all in the mince and cheese pie. Over priced no knowledge of what they are selling. I've had better pies at gas stations.
Food is okay, the real issue is that they do not have pay wave which in this day and age is a must for all businesses
Brumby's is a chain, but the quality depends on the local bakery team, and in this branch, they do a very good job.
The goods are typical Kiwi bakery style, which is fine and what the brand stands for. This is not an artisan bakery, and they do not call themselves this.
Their bread is good but not what I expect from a great bakery - personal taste.
Brumby's is in the heart of Karori and one of the only coffee shops open on a Sunday! It's coffee and food are nothing to write home about, but a nice little place to quickly grab a coffee to keep you going.
Loving their mince and cheese pies at the moment, the two girls on the counter on the weekends are so sweet and Friendly.
Just good pies, and close to the bike park so you can eat many pies and not feel bad about it (like you would anyway.)
Called late in the day to order 15 pies for pick up the next morning. Staff were helpful and patient when we were late. Everything was organised nicely and the team loved the food. Bit pricey but otherwise pretty good
Bread and pies are nice but I got a thai sweet chilli twist and whoever served me didnt clean the tongs and I got chocolate all over my bread ruining half of it.
Good place for coffee and other bakery items, one must try thing is the muffins, by far the best muffins in Wellington.
