Caffe Mode reviews
47After having a bad experience a few years ago I wasn't expecting much of this place however the Coffee was really good the guy who served was pleasant but really forgetful but all in all my experience here was better than the time before.
First time here. Great coffee and the friond was delectable. Easy going ambiance. Will be back.
Has become my WFH escape go-to. Consistently superb flat whites (intense but smooth), a relaxed friendly vibe with good service, and a small but strong cabinet selection. Cheers, Jake
When I want a really good coffee, Caffe Mode is the place I go to. The customer service is always cheerful and friendly. The quality of the food is always on point. One of my favourites is their pancakes and their cheese scones with butter. It's a quaint quirky little cafe, but I like it because it feels just like home.
Below average coffee and food and careless poor service. No table service provided, which required us to order at the counter which I believe is against COVID level 2 guidelines.
Always a very friendly atmosphere with great coffee and food. Never too noisy (except when the mums & bubs gather)
When I was going in some one didn't say thank you for me opening the door and I was like: 0 and then I nearly fell trying to go to the toilet overall 4 stars
Decent cafe with a vintage feel. Iced coffees are a must to try! So good. Food is also well prepared and delicious. Staff are friendly and the location is super handy for locals living nearby. Wait time for food/drink arrival could be improved, otherwise overall a great place to grab a bite.
A random visit to grab a quick coffee this morning. Thought of getting a cheese scone as well as they were on display.
It was amazing. After a long time I had that delicious cheese scone and a great coffee too.
You guys will see me more now.

Since the owners changed you now have to wait more than 15 minutes for a takeaway coffee and scone. Even when it isn’t busy. Seems understaffed. Food is still good but god damn I’m never coming back
50 minute wait for the specials, the poached eggs were cold by the time it got to our table. They do at least get filter coffee correct, unlimited refills - needed 4 while waiting for our order.
Man they make the best coconut milk cappuccinos, absolutely delicious and the food is just as good! My mash burger is a vegetarians dream with option for for vegan but I love cheese too much.
Best Eggs Benedict I have had so far! I wish I took a picture of it. Will be back for it next visit.
Great service with friendly
staff. Be mindful that the space is quite small and the toilet is not easy to get to.
Pleasant surroundings, pleasant staff, who really wanted to make a difference. Highly recommended!
Best iced coffees I've ever had, and the staff were all super friendly despite being rushed off their feet. Will definitely be going back.
Appalling service - arrogant staff member (owner I think). Certainly won't go back until it goes out of business because of arrogant service.
In response to your request for more information;
the day before the cafe re-opened, we arrived at the cafe for a coffee at 3pm, only to be told that the cafe was under new ownership, was closed, re-opening tomorrow (despite your website saying the cafe is open till 4pm). The response was gruff, hurried and unfriendly (could have been " of we are sorry but we are re-opening tomorrow and hope you will come and check us out").
Two days later we tried again. We asked for a tumeric latte - the guy serving us (short dark hair - the same one from 2 days earlier) replied that you don't do tumeric latte and looked at us as if we were from another planet (his response could have been "we have just changed ownership at are looking into more options to offer". The other guy behind the counter (longish hair) was very friendly and tried to recover the situation politely.
Hope this helps.
The food was great and so was was the service would definitely recommend the eggs Benedict or the avocado smash
A very nice cafe, with a great atmosphere. Friendly staff and enjoyable food. Will definitely return soon.
One of my favorite cafes in the Western Suburbs. Very friendly staff, good coffee and great food. There is usually a parking space near the cafe too.
A great experiance for my first coffee in wellington and great hot coffee during the cold and wet day. It has a homey feeling with a great interior with enough space inside for larger groups but small enough for solo travellers. Will definitely return in the coming weeks for more coffee, from friendly staff willing to help
