Cars Inc Car Museum reviews
17America in NZ. Nice collection, handy diner though deafening as no sound deadening. Friendly welcome from the owner.
Found this little gem of a place 3 days before my flight home. The museum is spacious, the exhibits well thought out and restored to the highest standard. The owner (Paul Boden) mingled and chatted with everyone, even me. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit. You don't even have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy the experience.
This place was awesome. Had a yak with the owner or part owner who complimented my C5.
Food and staff were great. What else can ya say. Came from the Manawatu to see this place and I was NOT disappointed
Amazing cafe the food was great and didn't take long to get. The cars are amazing and was great to see the owner walking around talking to people about the cars. Highly recommended going and spending time there. Will be going back soon for sure
One fantastic place to visit, incredibly super friendly staff, and once through the doors (after enjoying one splendid brunch at he awesome Cars Inc. Diner) the museum itself is incredibly captivating. It immediately takes you back in time and the vast array of rides covers so many decades and genre's. One brilliant way to spend a couple hours, could of stayed longer, will be back for sure!
Awesome vibes - great food - friendly staff - AMAZING cars! Definitely worth visiting - we’ll be back.
I'm only giving 5 stars as they have only just started out but if they had been around for a while it would definitely only be 3 and thats
even pushing it unfortunately this place was very underwhelming $77 for a family of 5 to look at less then 30 cars I felt was a bit of a rip off its definitely a one and done for us.dont get Me wrong the staff at the counter where very friendly and nice I just just couldn't justify the price when we've been to other car museums and it's cheaper with heaps more cars
What a fantastic place to visit. Great hosts, lovely food, quick service, beatiful exhibits, great transport related models and cars for children to get the bug. Clean toilets and facilities. Many thanks for a special group booking from all of us at Gear Jammers Rod and Muscle Car Club Inc Waikanae. Cheers. Muzz. Prez
Very interesting and well set up display of a wide range of beautifully restored vehicles. Lots of American V8s. Race cars and stock standard. Definitely worth a look and a nicely laid out and car themed cafe as well.
Thanks for a yummy brunch, lovely coffee, and great service. The museum is awesome! Will definitely be bringing friends and family to visit. Loved reading the information about each car. Thank you for all the work that has gone into providing a reasonably priced and family friendly destination.
Great place to eat and bonus is you get to check out some cool cars
Staff are wonderful too.
Visited on a Sunday and had a great time. Delicious scones and a beautiful chai latte. Spent some time chatting before we went thru to look at the museum. Whilst I'm not a car fan as such, I did enjoy seeing some cars I had heard of but never seen before. Loved the toy car displays and the pedal cars too. I'd say it's a visit that suits the whole family. Would definitely come again even if just for the cafe.
The mueseam is amazing lots of info on the cars, the food is good I had the American cheeseburger and while I was eating I noticed that the table signs had letters on them with a classic car on it that matched the letter of the table for example table H had a picture of a hq holden table I had a picture of a chevy Impala.
Not yet been to the musuem, however have stopped by a couple of times for the food.
Ideally located the cafe is a good size, clean with friendly staff. A nice menu with fair pricing. The big breakfast is very good.
Food was Awesome and the museum was easy to walk around and enjoy the cars. Love the extra touches with the signage.
Came to Cars Inc with my family today for my parents birthday weekend.
My sister is in New Plymouth Rodders, and my parents are in Scenic City.
I'd heard about Cars Inc when it was first advertised asking for vehicles to go on display and shared it to every car club and group I could.
Incredible displays. Lots of space for more displays and changing displays (other cars might swap in and out over time).
Recommended to have a snack and drink in the cafe and explore the museum. Heaps to see. A bargain $22 entry fee too.
Jenny and Paul have done an incredible job of setting up Cars Inc.
Bathrooms are super clean and accessible. Wheelchair / pram accessible. Disabled parking at the front entrance. (No dedicated baby/child parking but the carparks are wider which fits lots of bigger cars too).
