Chocolate Frog Cafe

Never had eggs bene with boiled eggs before, coffee tasted like warm milk and came after the food. Disappointed….

Great cafe nestled inside Palmers Miramar.a fantastic place to eat and then wander through the garden

The staff are very friendly, we didn't have to wait long for our brunch, even though it was very busy. Lovely looking out at the plants.

Busy Sunday lunchtime. Very tasty creamy garlic mushrooms and bacon on ciabatta. No water bottles but there were plastic cups and a water tap, so all good

Wow! Always busy. We had drinks and meals, impressed with service and no long delays, indoor and outdoor (covered in from weather) dining. Nice place in the garden centre.

Gluten free scones and excellent espresso. Ticks all my boxes. So good I got seconds!
Colleague couldn't fault the full cooked breakfast. Definitely return next time I'm in Miramar.

Tasty food, friendly staff, fast service.
Avocado on toast, bagels, corn fritters, all very tasty. Recommended

Busy mid week with holidayers. Service good and friendly. The smoked chicken with pasta and leeks could have had more leek to balance out the creamy and smokey flavours

This has become our regular local brunch spot.

While it can become quite hectic and busy, the service and food is reliable good and keeps us coming back

Coffee tasted awful, almost chemical
The pancakes were well presented but lacked flavour. No butter and the maple syrup tasted very watery possibly just maple flavored syrup, not real

Standard cafe set up in a plant centre. Tbh is getting tired and the "cute" uncomfortable chairs are overdue for redoing. While the cafe is still just presentable it is in the precipice of decline

So handy to have somewhere open a bit later in the day for a catch up. Food is always yummy. My son loved his kids hot chocolate.

The smoothies and the meals can be decadent, just great seats with witty quotes.
Seasonal menu items are great, I had the pork belly benny with a chocolate frog smoothie.
Very happy to recommend that and the fries are good to share.

Chocolate Frog Cafe is great place to hang out with your friends or by yourself, the food and the coffee was great, such a nice place to be, being in the garden centre and that staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for the pleasant experience.

Great spot with great food but more often than not it is completely packed full. It's great they're busy but during any sunny or weekend day plan on taking away.

Fantastic experience for lunch today. The place was packed but the waitress was extremely onto it clearing a space for us. Food came out quick and everything was 10/10. Fair prices and great atmosphere and the perfect spot for a classic kiwi cafe lunch.

Food is just awesome, waitstaff cleared a table for us as soon as we arrived even with the place being packed, 10/10
