We had a bad experience with some omelettes, but all was resolved and we are happy with the result. Thank you for the service!

The coffee is just ok, the food is about average nothing to complain about. With so many other cafe options the only draw is the proximity to a hardware store. On a sunny day the indoor/outdoor seating is a nice spot to enjoy brunch.

Every couple has a special place or a spot they love to enjoy there company at We love the atmosphere dining here every Sunday, the chef provides the best scrambled eggs on toast.

Don’t be deceived by the price! They serve to the lowest possible standard. The savoury scone was raw inside, yuk! Would much prefer to eat in a Siberian prison during the tzarist regime. And the coffee was even worse, no taste at all, and it smells like they are using robusta beans to save money. The staff were friendly, though, it’s not their fault.

Person serving us could have been more friendly however, food was excellent best in a long time

Keto breakfast is back. I really enjoyed the latest keto breakfast, the previous menu had a keto bowl however change of menu saw this item disappear. The scrambled eggs with this item were wonderful, the haloumi delicious
Great coffee, situated in Mitre 10 Porirua, so a great place to eat out, they even have the newspaper. Staff very professional.

Ordered light lunch. Received coffee and asked where was food after 15 minutes. Was told you have had it while three staff continued to talk. Then argued that they didn't have our order. We finally got it but I would have preferred to walk away. Later told by Mitre 10 staff that after 1.00pm it is time for columbus staff to talk to each other - tables had
not been cleared and dining area on a whole was not clean, but plenty of birds eating Has there been a change of management?

This is one of my go to places when catching up with friends. There is something for everyone on the menu and I have never left dissapointed. I do miss the granola/muesli option they used to have on menu but I have enjoyed working my way through the rest of the food choices and have enjoyed every thing I have tried

Delicious food - especially the smoked sausage in the big breakfast. 100% recommend Columbus for brunch.

Great restaurant but can be noisy at times due to its popularity.

Literally just walked out and left our meals not even half eaten because they were so terrible and just spend $50 so not cheap at all. Scrambled eggs were way over cooked to the point they were chewy not soft and had spots of green all over? Seafood chowder was the worst! Tiny tiny little shrimps and squid rings tiny mussels from the seafood mix at like paknsave in what looks like a chicken soup! Should not be advertised as a "seafood chowder" as anyone who's had a seafood chowder knows there should at least be whole normal sized mussels, fish/shrimps in a creamy chowder NOT a seafood green soup with broccoli and celery and who knows what else Should not be advertised as seafood chowder for $17. So disappointed then goto walk out and have someone screaming at us about a mask then the next two customers that walk in with no mask and she choose to discriminate us on our way out from hands down the worst meal ever? Will not be back waste of money! Didn't bother telling waiters about the food as it's not their fault.

Service is friendly and doing the best they can. Food is tasty but would have appreciated a heads up that there was a 20 minutes + wait for meals from the kitchen. Portion size does not reflect the price

We ordered Bacon Benedict’s, my eggs were super over cooked & Benedict’s were drowned in a not so nice Hollandaise sauce!
Been here before and enjoyed the food, so maybe new cooks or just having a bad day?

Great atmosphere for a coffee & lunch. With the mitre 10 plant section right next to it gives it a great vibe and has a small enclosed playground for kids. Good cabinet salad selection and coffee (even though the roast isn't the best). Great spot that I go back to regularly.

Blown away by my decaf oat milk latte at the Mitre 10 Mega Columbus. Excellent quick and efficient service. I didn’t have the highest of hopes, but exceeded my expectations in every regard!

Always consistent. Great coffee. Love the loyalty scheme. Yum scones. Many options. Lots of seating arrangements. Great customer service at Porirua

These guys do tasty Keto cheesecake. Anywhere that gets Keto in gets 5 stars from us:)
