Very expensive asparagus was like old straw
Lamb shank was not tender could not get the meat off bone

7 course degustation with wine match.beautiful food with lovely service and a primo table with view of the dock. Would've been 5 stars for service but right at the end we had a change in waiter.they didn't nail the food story that is so much a part of the degustation. Would've been good to have more nz wines with the degustation too. Degustation should be a story of the place told with food and wine.

Had a fantastic meal with my family, a degustation meal with wine paring as an option. The service was excellent, and our waiters' knowledge of food and wine was excellent. Enjoyed the seaview.

Big breakfast for 40$ and, to be honest, same quality breakfast I usually get when passing by a small New Zealand town, but for way smaller price. I understand I also pay for the view, but I still would expect a restaurant quality breakfast

Nice setting and most of the food was ok, but plant-based people can do better. The lasagne was eerily similar to a Vera Moda frozen vegan lasagne from the supermarket. The waiter claimed it was made in house - either it was and it tastes pre-frozen, or it wasn't and he was fibbing. Either way, save your $32 - you can get it for $3.25 per piece down the road.

Really good service, starter and sides. The mains were a bit underwhelming. Both the lamb and the duck were undercooked, and were somewhat disappointing.

Came here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. Great place to celebrate special occasions! Totally enjoyed the food and Leona, our server was very approachable and was very patient with our questions and favours. Keep it up girl!:)

Worst service I have ever experienced, staff are dismissive and inattentive. 25 minutes between ordering and receiving drinks…. Absolute joke

Food was great and the venue is excellent, the only thing that let them down was the tardiness in delivery of drinks orders.

We were told to take a seat outside and someone will come and serve us, waited 20min and still no service, so we left, really disappointed

We went there on a Tuesday noon. It took twenty minutes for a waiter to look after us, and we only learnt ten minutes later that nothing on their main menu was actually available.

Came here for a drink with some friends. Lovely, jokey staff and great hot chips. A good vibe overall.

Expensive for a really poor food quality. They told us the fish was fresh but it didn't seem so. The coffee was really bitter. Good service though and lovely staff.

As much as I use to like coming here, tonight was not that night. Level 2, so yes we didn't mind being seated to be served. But it would be good to "actually" be served. Was here for 3 hours and only was served when we called down a waiter. Sorry to say this has been the first time I have not been impressed: (

Great ambience, food tasted delicious, excellent service - waiting staff are very friendly and attentive. Will come back.:)
