Food was really good, very good portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.

This is actually the best Chinese restaurant in Wellington. Went with some friends, we order about 7 dishes and they were all the best version of that dish we had ever tried. Not even exaggerating! A hidden gem to be sure.

The pork and chive dumplings are absolutely AMAZING, very well priced for what you get. Steamed dimsums? Not so great, shitake mushrooms, pork fat and prawns were missing. Those 3 ingredients are a must have in siu mai (dimsums). However, the dumplings are brilliant.

Good value for money and really tasty food. The pork and cabbage dumplings were so juicy and delicious. Everything we ordered was good. Will be back for sure!

Nice food, the stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The fried rice was a bit odd, it had the odd crunchy bit in it that was unidentifiable, and didn't seem fresh.

I would say this is the overall best Chinese food in Wellington.
Edit: Best Chinese food sometimes. Unfortunately after returning several times, found their food to be rather inconsistent.

This is one if my most favorite Chinese eateries in Petone. Reliable and yummy food, dumplings are great (especially pan fried ones), but don't get fooled, all other food is very tasty as well. Yes, interior is a bit tired, but it is well compensated by the quality of the food!

Amazing dumplings! Green beans with pork mince and special sweet n.sour pork are also tasty! Definitely gonna come back: p Highly recommend the dumping again

My family and I eat
here on a regular basis, always happy with the service and food, we went there tonight, no longer have Grills on their menu which my husband ONLY eat, vegetables still quite raw, soup Luke warm. Very disappointing. Don't think we will go back there in a hurry again

I am a regular customer here, as their dumplings are amazing and are well priced, but after my latest order I will not be back. It now costs $3 per serving to order pan fried dumplings instead of steamed (used to be free). Was also disappointed to find both my orders of dumplings came without soy sauce.

We've eaten there several times and the food was always good. Seems like the Chef wasn't in time for work as they opened at 5 00pm. 4 items taken away home but sadly more than half made it to the compost.

Food was delicious, was a hold up in the kitchen for some reason for the main courses but staff kept us informed and they were very apologetic. When the food arrived it was piping hot and so tasty. The time went quickly, would definately go again and recommend to family & friends. Cost was very reasonable

And they call themselves dumpling world panda paw on Margaret St Lower Hutt beats this by far.

Love the dumplings and special sweet and sour pork. They have a great selection of dishes and I've got myself to try a new dish every week.

Great food at reasonable price. Kebabs and chicken schnitzel were amazing. Would come back again.
