36Such a busy little café/bakery - be patient and you will be rewarded. Amazing pastries and excellent coffee.
Cute little coffee place I loved during my short stay in Wellington: best coffee I had (and I tried most of the suggested places in the city Center) but most of all best pastries. My forever fav: ricotta and lemon, brought me back to south of Italy!
Atmosphere is also amazing, especially during a winter sunny day when the only thing you need is a warm coffee hug to your thoughts and senses. Want to thank them for the friendly welcome!
Whether you are wanting delicious pastries or well prepared coffee, goods has it all.
The fine folk are incredibly friendly and prompt, and they have remained consistent with their high standard for the 4 years I've gone here.
Cute little cafe! Only two cookies on offer for the gluten free selection, but as to be expected as it’s a bakery. Tried the brownie cookie which was a bit too sweet for me so couldn’t finish it but definitely was yummy! Great coffee & friendly staff. Nice vibe & little hideaway. Would love to see a low gluten muffin or loaf
Fantastic pastries and nice coffee.
It's a small but cosy place that has only a few tables (and the place is usually very crowded) ; so it can happen that you don't find a sit. But still, it's worth visiting.
I truly enjoyed their freshly baked croissant accompanied with a nice cup of coffee.
Hands down the best cinnamon brioche buns in NZ! We always detour to Goods whenever we're lucky enough to be in Wellington. Coffee is supremely good too! I would have given 7 stars if it was an option.
Cozy spot with good selection of pastry/sweet.
Could get packed quickly due to the small size of the cafe.
Superb baked goods and great coffee in a lovely spot near the Botanic Gardens. Gets pretty busy.
Best cafe and bakery in Thorndon. Tuck yourself away in the corner with an almond croissant and a coffee and you’ll loose track of time in the best way.
Great Cabinet options and coffee always served with a smile
Also everyone should try out Little Grump in town if you cannt get to Goods
I rate this place as one of the best in Wellington. Excellent coffee. Breads and pastries are very, very good. 5/5
Best Pastries! Morning buns, almond croissants and bacon&egg pies. All delicious! Coffees good too.
Perfect coffee, some of the best European-style baking with a Kiwi twist (Whitaker's Chocolate pan au chocolat = heaven), friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere tucked away behind some wooden houses. A very cozy spot. The morning cinnamon bun was as good as any you'll find in Stockholm - sensational.
Best in Wellington. The gluten free chocolate cookie is divine. As are all their other pastries. Coffee is consistently excellent. Always have filter on as well.
I'm so glad to have found this little gem.friendly staff, and amazingly delicious baking! Go here! Try it!
Treat, coffee, nice tables in a sheltered little courtyard. On a sunny morning, what’s not to love.
Didn't know it existed until I was taken there with work. Amazing atmosphere and amazing food. A little hidden Gem
I haven’t tried their food but have tried to go multiple times. I get the opening hours are listed online - not everyone checks this before going somewhere and it’s not clear at all when you’re walking by (which I have when it was closed) eg a sign clearly stating hours open. I’ve had a couple of awkward encounters because of this and the fact their doors will be open etc, I would think it was open when it’s not. Quite confusing. I wasn’t the only one either, as one of the times other people did the same thing I did. Has made me feel awkward to go back. Have heard the coffee etc if nice though. Just please make it clearer when you’re closed for customers.
Goods is one of the few cafes in Wellington that doesn't have scones, but you won't miss them with so many detectible pastry options. They offer one sandwich special each day, and the ones I've tried have all been delicious. It's often too busy to stay, but the atmosphere is lovely if you can get a spot.
