JB Hi-Fi Queensgate

Goods easily perused, spacious, have a chat to the security guard must be boring trying to remain vigilant at his/her/other post.

Stood around waiting for someone to help me for about 30min. The gentleman who was on the shop floor with another customer had to go on his break (fair) but didn't first get someone to help me. Just disappeared after being down with the customer ahead of me. It took another 5-10min waiting before realizing no one was returning to the department floor.

When I eventually went to the front counter to explain, the person was helpful and kind and apologized for the wait. Helped me then make a buying decision but admited they were not as qualified in that department but did there best.

Overall products and prices were good but the basics of customer service were well bellow expectations.

I would shop here again (and have had good experiences in the past), however if the the same product was available elsewhere I would probably try there first now as JB is very hit and miss with service.

I'm from Christchurch and I'm annoyed. I'm quite annoyed that we don't have anything quite as awesome as this place back home. Sure, Harvey Norman is good but JB Hi-Fi is really something else.

Handsome young chap in the brown cap sold me 22 breville blenders and I only came for an iPod touch 4th edition! Exceptional service by this gentleman

Good variety. Helpful staff. Long store as opposed to wide. Things are easy to find and well marked.

Awsome friendly staff who provide an easy shopping experience and provide great products for affordable prices. I purchased a Cannon printer and samsung phone. Thanks to the team at JB for also giving my 2 year old son this awsome spider man as well. Epic. Will definitely be back to purchase electronic goods.

When the sales are on, can get some good deals. Otherwise, it's like Noel Leeming, but with less floor space. Offers music & video purchases.

Couldn't find a 4k Blue ray disc that I wanted on the rack even staff looked, to no avail however found the one I wanted as walking out the door. Ashame the staff didn't point that out. But overall a happy customer

Rang up to find out if they had a phone in stock, got put through to telco (on hold), telco? Guy immediately put me through to somewhere else (more time on hold) eventually the guy was able to tell me they didn't have it in stock, but wasted a lot of time just trying to speak to right the person for what was a pretty simple request.

Terrible customer service was ignored for 30minutes while we waited paitently to be served. Please do better

If there was a zero star I would have given it. No service, literally had to go to the counter to ask for help, and then to find out that the product advertised guess what - was not in stock in the whole of Wellington region! Business like these should get fined for advertising ghost products!

This is a great store for all your media consumption needs. Consoles, games, music. They even have a wide selection of medium sized and smart appliances. Casual use laptops, no gaming computers that I could see (PBtech probably best for that)
There was good quality air and Flor. If anything the store is a little too cluttered, better know what you're looking for before you go in or you'll want to buy everything.
Excellent home theatre amplifier, s ound bar and TV selection.

Good prices on some items but bad on others a mixed experience good customer service not a good value but convenient if you dont want to go to pb tech all the way in Wellington wich have better deals on most items jb hifi is good for high end stuff thats about it let's talk about prices anything related to hardware like pcs or laptops or tvs the prices are pretty bad when it comes to audio the prices are not too bad dvd prices are good phone prices are pretty good kitchen equipment have ok prices gaming equipment has ok to good prices yea so jb hifi is OK but is just another option my suggestion is just to buy what you want when it's on sale

Out of the 4 sales people, 2 women, 2 guys only one guy came out top! But everything you want at superb prices, even noted a quality jug $30 cheaper than other stores.

Jbhifi queengate is one of the best places to get your stuff if you need to buy any electrical or phone or stuff you need. It starts from friendly staff, great customer service to great competitive prices. If you have bought something from them and its faulty they understand that fact that you have spent your money there and they will try their best to sort it out for you or even replace it compared to their competitors who are fussy. Personally always shop there and would recommand highly to anyone who wants to buy stuff to shop there. Great place.

If I could give 0/5 I would. We took the time to call the store to ensure the product we wanted to purchase was in stock. The Wellington store let us know stock was showing but because we were coming from north of the Region we called JB Hi-Fi Queensgate to ensure they were available. After being on hold for around 5 min, Josh assured me they were in stock. Once we arrived to collect the item at much amusement of the staff member she told us it was a wasted trip as Josh made an error and there were none in stock even though he supposedly checked and confirmed while I was on hold. She may be amused at us driving that far and home without our purchase but her customer service is terrible. Would never support this company again.
