Jeff Cafe Limited

I discovered Jeff's Cafe yesterday and have eaten there twice since. The menu is varied, authentically Chinese, well priced and positively delicious. The chef is a true master and clearly devoted to his craft. 10/10

This is a hidden gem. Although the setting isn’t great, and it’s small, the food was fantastic at a really good price. We overwhelmed them with a surprise 16 person table, but they were very friendly and the food was great!

Absolutely delicious. Best sweet and sour pork I have eaten in years. Just like I like it. And prices very reasonable too for large servings. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Best coffee and breakfast sandwiches hands down! They have heaps of vegan and gluten free options too.

Their main dishes are also top tier and very fairly priced.

Glad we found this cafe just next to our hotel (James Cook Grand Chancellor). Their dishes are so amazing and yummy. Prices are so reasonable. Highly recommended

One of, if not, the best chinese we've had. Lots of fresh vegetables, no greasy or oily dishes. All round good value. Well worth an order

Absolutely atrocious behaviour. Would not eat there again. Management was appalling in there behaviour when settling customer grievances. I would not recommend them at all to my friends, and food critics

Having dined here for several years, I was pleasantly surprised they hadn't changed on a recent visit. Consistantly great food and very reasonably priced. An absolute hidden gem.

I wasn't really expecting much but I really think food wasn't really good at all. Cheap, yes. But I feel like food could've been much better. I've had Chinese food in similar price range be much better than this.

I went into the Cafe without much expectations. The setup was simple and basic. I guess I was fooled. It turned out to be my most satisfying meal after being on the road for almost a week. Cooking style was very much like Singapore; I like the fact that garlic and onion were used generously. Ingredients like prawns, squid, etc, were fresh. The Kung pao was good, although I prefer it a little more spicy. Portions were very decent at a reasonable price. Do check it out!

Possibly the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Wellington. Meals now average around $14. Great place to share meals.

Went in specifically for sweet and sour pork and combo fried rice.
The SSP was cooked perfectly however the sauce was completely lacking flavour and weak.
The fried rice was delicious even if the veges were barely cooked

Great food, excellent value. Decor is average but great spot for a work lunch with a group of people.

Wow what can I say. Absolutely lovely Chinese food, the orange beef just the best. Value for money and staff are awesome.

Great place for gathering! Dishes are in decent flavor and relative large portion. Rice is free~
