Lambton Square & Eatery reviews
37Great selection of inexpensive foods and drink. Busy at midday. Many food huts are closed by mid-afternoon and weekends as this area caters to the public service. Great for midweek lunch dining.
Now. I bought a quiche at the French Bakery in Lambton Square as I normally do in the Thorndon Quay shop where they are served in a cake tray. Here it was just bunged in a paper bag where it broke up.very poor.
The coffee is excellent and it is refreshing to sit outside! My first visit but will certainly go back there.
The top floor of this building has a variety of cuisines to choose from. It gets very busy during the weekdays, especially around lunch time!
Big food court. Best place to get lunch on Lambton quey. Lots of space aviable. Busy between 12 to 2 pm.
What a variety of eateries, spoilt for choice. All busy and they all had a good system to serve customers quickly.
Lambton Square is always great. Great food. I love Acquisitions for lovely or quirky items. Midio is so cute.
I'm not quite sure what to write here, or how to rate a mall like arrangements. Some of the food places (I haven't tried them all) are ok (good value for money), some are average, some below par. Since covid-19 it is never jam-packed, which makes for a nice change.
I shop at the chemist warehouse when my products are not available at the supermarket. The service is good unfortunately not with a smile. The country road store opposite have good prices and great service.
Everybody knows this place is popular destination for working professionals at lunch time. Many different cuisines with shared sitting places. Its hard to find a place at lunch time.
A good selection of international foods, have eaten here many times. Best to arrive prior to lunch as this eatery gets very full from 1200 to 1300
I got a meal from the Chinese smorgasbord. A lot of the food was cold. My son got a meal from benton bowl and my daughter got sushi. They both enjoyed their meals.
Clean place, well maintained several restaurants are located here, on the central Lambton quay. Tables with a view. A very nice place.
Lots of food options and very handy location.
The only down side is it may become bit busy sometimes, but so far I am able to find a spot.
It has quite a few diffrent food places and plenty of seating areas upstairs and shops below and a entrance on the terrace and Lambton Quay
About 8 different eateries under 1 roof, lots of seating but can be full on a bad weather day. The lovely people who keep the tables cleared & clean are friendly & efficient. Pity the meat/salad/noodles place didnt become permanent (they were my favourite). Clean toilets.
Tried the sushi this time. It's formulaic, but that's not a bad thing. There's a good range of other food outlets to try. Plenty of seating, good light in eating area, with a high ceiling so you don't feel enclosed. The TVs haven't worked for a long time. The cleaning staff are quick & friendly. Clean toilets & plenty of them. No idea how a wheelchair gets in here.
Exciting place. Unfortunately I encountd a few individuals outside the Plaza sat o street and begged.
Good selection of fast food. Good for a quick lunch. Clean and tidy. The only drawback is the cleaners who clear the tables while still seated and on occasion before I have finished my entire meal.
