Food and portions were good only needed the small meal service was good. Atmosphere was nice and quiet decor was dated but everything else was great

Really like the roast here, it's yummy. You get good amount for the price too. Lovely owners. Pretty quite inside restaurant. I normally get take aways which is quite quick.
They have roast beef, lamb & pork.

Love their roasts. Plenty of meat and veges with gravy. Pork comes with crackling. Generous portions at a good price. I highly recommend.

Purchased a large roast pork meal with just meat and mixed veges. Paid normal price and there was just enough meat for my partner and I. Portions were small.
That was the last time I visit

Got lamb and beef roast which are nicely portioned and the sauce was amazing. A little bit of a wait and needing to ask for cutlery and serviette but it's all good.

Ordered large pork meal. I found the potatoes nice n crisp on the outside soft on the inside yummy. Meat tender and veggies were great. The crackle was to die for.

Absolutely yummy food it's a takeaway bar I visit whenever in Masterton. Pork. Pork crackle. Yummy. Fried chicken and chips. Kumara. Yum. Yum. Yum.

I bought a roast pork meal takeaway. The pork was so salty it tasted more of salt than pork. I cannot have salt in my
diet due to a kidney disease and I am terribly upset and annoyed that so much salt was used. A sure waste of money!
Please think before you cook with salt.
My husband also said the chicken was dry. Not a good experience at Masterton.

Won't ever go there again. It was watery gravy, veges were raw and cold there' tables weren't clean still had dishes and food on it. I had to clean my own table and there cutlery and plates were plastic very disappointed.
However I love Sunday Roast.the one in Palmy is a beautiful place to dine. I live in Masterton I would drive there just to dine & eat there A+ 100% clean. Great service well prepared. And fresh n clean

We had the most delicious Roast Chicken and Roast Lamb dinners on Monday night.the best ever - taste - size - price.we were visiting from Papamoa Beach and highly recommend this place for their Delicious Roast Dinners. A big thankyou from us.

I found the MASTERTON ROAST RESTAURANT for the Roast Meals excellent, my husband and l get a PORK ROAST MEAL every few weeks, and thoroughly enjoy it.
There is also Lamb, Beef, Chicken.
The prices are good value, $12.00, $15.00, $19.00, in the containers.
The $15.00 one is a good size.
The meat is lovely and tender with gravy and apple sauce, baked potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, pumpkin, peas, and yummy crackling.
I would recommend this BUSINESS
MASTERTON ROAST RESTAURANT to everyone one to try, but DO NOT go on MONDAYS as that is when they are shut, other than that six days to try these lovely meals, enjoy.

The places needs better aircon, I feel for them working there the owners always look unhappy and stressed out but they do a good job serving food, the roasts are okay, nothing like a roast at home but it's decent food and reasonably priced.

Best roast meal I've had for a long time lots of tender pork with crunchy crackling, apple sauce and gravy; roast potatoes; carrots; peas; pumpkin and cauliflower. Coffee was nice too. Would definitely go there again if holidaying in North island and will recommend to friends. Staff very friendly too

Went in to buy chicken and potatoes both in the cabinet but was told they were for someone else and had to wait 20 minutes

Shared with a friend. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Even had a visit from some charming younger persons.

Always get a great roadt here. Found the large meal was enough for two. Great food. The decor could be updated for a nice instore dining experience
