The food was exquisite and delicious. The service was friendly, the food came out fast and quick. Highly recommended. We will diffnantly be back.

We ordered entree’s and dumplings were not good and half a size of a standard dumpling. The stuffed mushrooms were so greasy that the oil soaked through the box and onto the table. The hot chips weren’t as great either. The wontons and spring rolls weren’t so bad but overall experience - First and last time.

Booked for a party of 20 - 24. Arrived between 6pm - 6 30pm. After an hour my daughter and myself kept asking when were we going to have our orders taken?
Another 25 minutes later we finally get to order but prior to this, we were noticing that patrons arriving after us were being seated served and food delivered before our group. Staff were definitely under pressure and no doubt the cook but it's not good when my family get up and apologised that they were leaving because service was absolutely disgusting. Our children were so hungry that not even their orders were taken and also waited for over an hour and a half.
The only positive thing was food was tasty once it arrived to the table and prices were pretty fair.
However tables need to be cleared and wiped down properly as presentation showed smudges from foods and drinks still smudged on tables and rotating glass tables.
One particular staff member also needed to have his attitude towards his service put in check. Had to confront him regarding his attitude when asked what was happening with 30 of us waiting to order. Wont be recommending to hold another family dinner there again as they simply cannot meet requirements.

Always consistently amazing. I can taste love in my food. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Gluten free magic! Not well advertised but they can make many of the dishes Gluten Free, this is why we went!

Faultless Sizzling Black Pepper Beef, so tender it melted in my mouth with a delicious spicy pepper flavor, but it’s the sweet and sour pork that I came for, soo tasty, crispy, sweet and lots of pork.

The dumplings looked amazing and I’m going back for the crispy tofu and I don’t even usually like tofu.

Ordered crispy duck for takeaway. When I got home, found out they gave me chicken (Note: duck is more expensive than chicken) - they probably thought that someone who looks like me won't notice. A pity

Very good food however you need to advise rice is not included with any meals which is a standard for Chinese food.

The worst place I have ever been to. I booked a table at 7.30pm. I waited for 1 hour even I already booked a Beijing duck through the phone 2 days ago. And that is even not the worst part. I was so angry when I saw the duck. I never expect my meat to be so fairy. And complaining about the food to the waiter was useless. So not worth it. I will tell everyone I know how disgusting the dinner was.

提前两天预定了烤鸭，到了地方还是让我们等了一个小时。好不容易上菜了，烤鸭上面全是毛 服务员听不懂人话，我和他说烤鸭毛没拔干净，他和我说烤鸭毛都是用火烧。不明白想表达什么。没一个地方让人满意。给一星是因为没办法打零分。

Unfortunately I've had to change my review, this place used to be absolutely amazing, and we've eaten here dozens of times.

Unfortunately the last two times have put us off, the food has definitely slipped, and after ordering online (on their own website) @ 6.20pm for a 6.45pm pick up the food was finally ready @ 7.35pm. Unfortunately this food was average at best, cumin lamb and s&s pork both all batter no meat, salt and pepper squid so tough it was inedible, all for the grand total of $136.66

Time to find a new regular

I'm really surprised at the high rating of reviews. The worst Chinese restaurant we've ever had.yucky！I tried beef in the shop yesterday. The beef is a bit off. The lousy food upsets my stomach. 我吃過最難吃的中餐，沒有之一！！！牛腩蘿蔔是餿的，雞肉又軟又霉！我吃了一口，直接全倒掉了！！！不建議大家前往！

The best restaurant on queens drive and the best of it's quisine in the area. If your looking for good Chinese food I highly recommend

This is very good and friendly place. You will be served with all quality and on time. I'm always happy to meet with my friends here and have a dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Honestly the best Chinese restaurant in Wellington. Always consistently amazing. And always great customer service. Love the new location.

You should highlight that rice isn't included and also but descriptions on your website.

The crispy chicken with spicy salt was neither crispy nor contained spicey salt, not worth it.
Delivery menu needs much clearer descriptions, no idea what you are getting. Should be clear if it comes with rice or not.

It was my first visit to Jis Kitchen. I am very happy with what I ordered. The food was of a high standard. The team were very friendly and made sure that the meal did not contain an ingredient to which I am allergic too. I will be back for more. Thank you for making it a lovely experience.

Disgusting food. Was really busy understable with short staff. Food came after 1 hour. Yuck Never eaten distasteful and sickening food. Never ever going back.

I am a big fan of Chinese. The chicken rice noodles and crispy pork ribs was yum. Will have meal again soon.

Authentic Chinese restaurant unlike the sweeten Asian dishes. Peking duck available for pre - booking, absolutely love it, will visit again in the future. Highly recommended
