Nada Bakery

Went to Nada in Tawa after visiting in Whitby. Had my first custard square in several months, it was delicious. The pastry was firm and flakey with the custard filling tasty with a firm ooze, very nice. We had coffee as well. The flat white was very nice, lots of body with the milk well aerated and hot. The cabinet food was very eye catching but you can only eat so much for morning tea.

Buying a large take away cappuccino where the cup is 70% filled. Pity that great cup of coffee get spoiled by cup not living up to expectations.

Had a steak and cheese pie the meat was chewy and tough and the cheese wasn't melted worst pie I've ever had and the most expensive will tell as many people as I can to avoid this shop and will never go again sorry

There are better cheaper bakeries in Wellington who aren’t trying to blatantly rip off their captive market.

Their food is nice sure - but selection is very poor in Johnsonville store now and the pricing is predatory.

Aro bake is way cheaper, and better even when you factor in the gas. Nada has their work cut out for them

9: 80 for a beef cheek pie. The bloody cheek of them. Beef cheeks are a cheap cut too

Been going to Nada since I was a kid (Jville). So pleased to see Nada is still going and I can take my kids here too! The pies are absolutely amazing! Love the pork one or their potato top is another firm favourite! The Cafe in Tawa is a great place to stop and grab a coffee and delicious treat after kids sport. Yes, I'll have a Nada one

The Hot Cross buns this year were outstanding.
When ordering cakes bexsure to.insist on a box, Black forest cake in a paper bag does not work!

Pricey for a bakery and always low on stock. Also they don't display prices, a sneaky move to get you to pay their prices and feel poor if you object.

Nice, airey cafe-bakery with delicious selection of pastries, sponges and other food to blow your diet plan to smithereens. Also offered are award-winning pies, and specialty breads. There is seating inside and outside (uncovered) with parking on the street.
Nada is renowned for cakes customized to individual preferences and over several decades, they have made birthday cakes and Christening cakes for our family.
Highly recommended.

Nada Bakery do the BEST cakes! I had my son's birthday coming up so emailed through a photo of what I wanted and how I wanted it to look. Told them what day and time I needed it. There was no problem! Cake looked just like the photo I sent through. It was fresh and tasted amazing. All the guests raved about it. I will definitely be placing more cake orders through them! Fabulous pies, pastries and bread. Really tasty just like home made but better as they deliver. Great customer service and will continue to support this great local bakery. If you are looking for delicious pies I highly recommend you buy any of their Pork Belly, Chicken or Mince pies. You won't be disappointed.

It was an unpleasant visit today, almost hostile, I was not wearing a mask (as I have an exemption) I was going to purchase more items but due to the hostility I didn't, Please educate your staff on human rights and how not to discriminate. Might be a good product but with service like that not likely to come back.

Michael went above and beyond to help troubleshoot when I placed an order online after misinterpreting baking days/delivery to Auckland over lockdown. He worked with me to come up with an alternative solution, made satisfactory changes to the original order and had it shipped outside of their product pickup time. Really appreciate your efforts! The BEST gluten free bread, and so good to see a variety of freshly baked gluten free products. The bread is so soft and tasty, and took me back to the days when I could enjoy gluten. Cheese loaf brought tears of joy. And delivery was great - well packed and turned up as promised. Thanks for bringing delicious locally made happiness tp my day.

Top class Black Forest cake and Great award winning Pies.
However a pet complaint is one has to beg for a box if buying multiple items one would think that a high class bakery would know stuffing Creamy cakes into brown paper bags equals a mess by the time, one gets them home.
Do not go there near closing time which seems early, the body language tells that one is not welcome.
The wobbly table does little to assure one that anyone actually cares about clients.

We always stop by when driving through Tawa from Wellington. From my experiences, their pies and sourdough are delicious, and the customer service is nothing short of amazing.

A huge thanks to Michael and the Nada team for looking after us, in person, and during lockdown. We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area.

I ordered some goodies to send to my family in New Zealand for a special occasion, and Michael went above and beyond to make that happen. My family were amazed at the size of the croissants, and loved everything they received. The quality and care and service was wonderful. Would give six stars if I could. Thanks Nada Bakery!

I ordered some sandwiches and cakes for a morning tea.sandwhiches where lovely, but for 16 quarters sandwhiches cost me $40. Same with the cakes. 24 pieces for $43. Very expensive.don't know how they justify the price! L I couldn't believe the small tray they were bringing me. ️

Every time I go there, coffee is very good
but just this time coffee in the afternoon is very bad.
