64 Love the cheesy garlic bread and the shrimp fettuccine was yummy
The tortellini wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Would love to see gnocchi on the menu, but only if it's soft and fluffy
We had an amazing Birthday dinner at Nicolini’s last night. Food was delicious and amazing service. I wanted to say Thank you for Olivia for her amazing service. I can guarantee anyone will enjoy their special day at this amazing place.
Absolutely average food. Steak was horrible, not seasoned at all. The garlic bread was oily and soggy.
1st timer. Table of 7 incl 2 infants. My Salmon Risotto was sublime. So many gr8 food choices demands a return visit. My Tiramusu was extraordinary. Go n enjoy.
Food was nice, but service off putting.
Friendly, but we felt we had the hard upsale on everything. Made to order extra dish on the premise the mains would be late- they were not. Felt like they were keen to move us on as we only got 5 min between courses. We had three courses in under an hour and three different people serving us/clearing our dishes. Felt very rushed.
We absolutely love eating here. Always great service and friendly place. Definitely somewhere to visit if you are looking for great Italian food. Well done, Antonio and the team
Larger tables far too cramped and service chaotic with our meals getting lost for a while. Not as good as in its former premises.
OMG.what incredible service the food was stunning.will definitely be back.thank you for looking after Margots birthday dinner so well
Nicolini's has moved to a a new big location. But the seating for 2 people are still cramped like a sardine can. You are literally seated almost shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you. It did not feel private enough to have a romantic meal. It was like eating in a school's canteen.
Very vibey restaurant with lots of noise and delicious smells of food - what every good Italian restaurant should be like! Served by a very bubbly young lady who gave us suggestions on what to order and we enjoyed every morsel. The garlic bread was different to what we expected but it was so yummy.and really garlicky (yay!). All our meals were generous servings and very tasty. Unfortunately we were all too full for dessert but maybe next time we're in Wellington!
If you want authentic Italian food this is the best place in wellington to go. Awesome atmosphere, great servers and delicious food.
What a joy to dine at this fine Italian restaurant. Warm, welcoming service from professional wait staff & maitre d'. Food and wine way beyond expectations.
Amazing Beautiful food service was absolutely impeccable lovely ladies thank you to the chef five star
We will be dreaming about the food, especially the lasagna for months. Staff are so friendly and we will most definitely be back again soon!
An Amazing experience, Due to my dear friend booking the wrong day, I felt the night was going to be a right off but the lovely Antonio found a table for us anyway. The food was incredible and the location on Blair Street was filled with a cosy relaxed ambience. A strong feeling of family and friendship, with a passion and love for food, which you could clearly taste with each delicious mouthful! Thanks to you all for a wonderful night. We will be back for sure. ️
Amazing tasty food, awesome staff, traditional Italian food, waitress Sneha very professional and friendly, highly recommend.
Food tasteless. Spaghetti bolognse had no taste. Seafood pasta swimming in oil. Ravioli OK. Manager patronizing. Go to portofino much better food.
One of our old faves, but with borders closed I could only fantasize about the Pescatora pasta the last 3 years… finally made it back last month and it didn’t disappoint! Wifey went for her old fave pork scallopini which also hit the spot:)
Picked up some interesting trivia while chatting with Antonio (one of the original owner’s sons) that they literally wrote the book on buffalo mozzarella in NZ - go ask for the details if you’re up for a story!
The quality of the food was all very good and delicious the only critique I have is that the food is a little salty (I ordered the carbonara and garlic bread) besides the saltiness it was good:)
