One Sushi Lower Hutt

10 weeks pregnant, ordered the teriyaki chicken and the chicken was raw
Edit in response to owners reply: I showed the staff at the time, and it was obviously raw and not just pink due to the type of chicken. It was a larger piece of chicken than the other pieces in the dish that were cooked. They gave me a refund.

Great place for a great meal, I work around the corner so it's perfect to stop by for lunch. Thanks team!

This place is so yum. Their chicken and chips are just so Delicious. I would appositely buy this again. Their Chicken & Chips are so worth it $11.

This is our first time here. My husband got Katsu chicken and chips and I got vegetarian rolls and dumplings. We r sooo impressed with this place. This is now our go to place for tasty take away food.

Have been this restaurant many times, but encountered this tall female cashier last time, she couldn't understand what I would like to order even I repeated few times, charged wrong price as well, I was very upset, the food was delicious though. Expect better customer service from you!

Not a great visit. More staff than customers but service was slow. For food I had chicken katsu and chips which I found to be very salty. I will try again to see if it was just a bad day but I'm afraid I don't have too many good things to say about this visit.

The chopsticks r horrible, they make my hands hurt and they won’t come apart properly and also the food was sooo greasy

Terrible customer service tonight. I used to order the same dish every time for lunch. For some reason the super rude lady told me' No they can't do it' in a terrible tone and manner.
Will never come back again. Used to be a super loyal customer.

I ordered the chicken and chips, it gets soooo messy bc of the packaging and also the chicken was super greasy and the sauce too only the chips were edible

I’m a regular here. Customer service is always top notch. Sushi is clean, delicious and well priced. Dumplings are yum, Katsu is good. Chicken and Chips is great I would have given it 5 stars however from time to time someone over seasons the Eel sushi (my 3yr olds favourite). She’s most upset when it’s too spicy.

The sushi is mid, same with katsu. The wasabi looks very off but it is cheap and has large portions

Damn this place is good. They have a decent selection of food to pick from but the sushi in particular is outstanding. So delicious and they look stunning. Can also recommend the Chicken Katsu.this place is the real deal

This place had the best sushi I have had EVER in NZ! The sushi is soooo tasty! And very affordable! I’d be eating here all the time if I lived near by. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Heard about their katsu bowls from alot of people and finally decided to give it a try and it was absolutely amazing. I got the chicken katsu bowl with half rice and half noodles. Couldn't stop to take pictures because it was that good. Chicken was nice and crispy, the veggies were nice and fresh, the sauces were great. Also it fills you up alot, grab the large since it's a dollar difference. Also the staff were really nice and served the food pretty fast, good for anyone grabbing food in a rush.

One of the best Sushi restaurants out there. Fresh and delicious sushi which is also very affordable.

I wish the ginger and soysauce would be free of charge like the other competitors.

My favourite go to place for sushi. Love the variety of options there for sushi and they taste so good. Also their chicken and chips are a hit as well as their chicken katsu bowls as well.

Being able to handpick sushi from a selection or have a dish made for you is one of the many highlights of this shop. You choose whether you go cheap and get 10 $1 items, or splurge and grab some eel or salmon as well

Lovely Customer Service! Due to my own dumb mistake I ordered thru delivery easy to pick up in Lower Hutt when I had meant Petone. Gave them a quick call and they kindly made it so it would be ready for me to grab it in Petone! 10/10 guys, Thanks!

Son has been about ten times. This visit was my first. Had the large katsu. The chicken was beautifully tender and crisp. It was a very big feed for 11 bucks. It was super busy at times, but they were highly efficient in processing the queue.

Last week I bought a pack of sushi as they were not fresh I don't know how long they are keeping them. The rice was hard and chicken was tasteless disappointed
