Onslow Medical Centre

Would not see me as I am not enrolled recently moved to Wellington told to go hospital for a flu or chest infection

Great on time service I did a drivers medical
I’m not from this area took me as a casual patient

Just the most amazing group of professionals. The reception staff are caring and helpful and the GP’s go above and beyond. The best practice I have ever attended here and overseas.
They truly are champions for their community

This is the best Medical Centre.
When you are a patient here you are welcome, respected & safe.
The Doctors at Onslow are all caring & professional.
You can trust that they will listen to you with great respect, discuss their diagnosis of your problem with you & promptly send you for blood tests, x-rays or a specialist if this is what is required.
It does not matter which Dr. You initially go to when you first join Onslow, you will be welcome & safe.
You might eventually work out which Dr. Or Drs best suit your personality.
There is an in house pharmacy, so you can sit & wait while your prescription is dispenced.
No going out in the cold to find an open pharmacy.
If you need an urgent appointment, the freindly, efficient receptionists will always find a way to fit you in somehow.
The Nurses at Onslow are very kind & will make the little ones feel safe when they have to have treatments or injections.
Having lost a child through Medical Misadventure! (A polite way of saying cxxxk up) I am very, very cautios of where I go for Medical Advice & Onslow Medical Centre Makes me feel safe.
I have 2 Drs there who care for Me, Dr Asuka & Dr Patel, I say Thank You to both of them for being so caring & Proffesional.
Finally I would add that there is no waiting 3 weeks or so, as I have heard people say, at other Medical Centres.
The girls at reception will always get you into your Dr.within one or 2 days.
If you are new to the area or uneasy about your exhisting Dr.ring Onslow, you will not be sorry.

Not my usual gp but Shane Dunphy is a great doctor.knows his stuff but the overall clinic policy of restricting people coming in because of Covid is over the top. If you’re vaccinated & boosted then things should be ok as long as care is taken. My usual clinic & tbh most of the places I’ve visited dont.
Also if you want me to wear a mask fine, but one of your receptionists wasn’t & that I take issue with.

Came here for a vasectomy in October 2021. Excellent staff, passionate doctors, and a lightning-fast procedure. Straight in, straight out. If I lived in Wellington this would be my go-to GP. Highly recommended.

Really impressive staff, I’ve now seen most of the doctors here and rate almost all of them highly. Very efficient process to book or get prescriptions, lots of automated/online services.

From the front desk to the doctors everyone is so friendly. I always come here for my appointments because its very efficient and no mucking around. 10/10 lovely staff, answering all questions And giving Great service.

The best medical practice I have been too. The receptionist is always friendly, welcoming and patient. It's super easy to book online or call the practice, also having after work appointments is so handy. I have seen multiple doctors at this practice and they have all listened, taken me seriously and treated me with respect. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad I found this medical center, I only had great service and doctors at Onslow Medical Centre. Our doctor Dr. Cheung is simply amazing, she’s very knowledgeable, great with kids, goes out of her way to make sure she answers our questions/ needs, honestly she has been the best family doctor we ever had, I’m so glad I found her and this centre with other very capable doctors.
