The Sunday roasts this winter are AMAZING. Quite possibly the best I've ever had.

This has to be Martinboroughs best kept secret.

Visited on a Sunday night for dinner. Service was slow, they may have been understaffed that night. Got the small roast. Slice of roast was the equivalent of about 25g. Underwhelming experience overall. Nice location though.

If you're not local, then the bar manager would prefer you go elsewhere. She's a real treat. But I have to give a few stars as it has the only pool table in Martinborough.

We had an early Christmas dinner here. Great food, redonable prices and friendly staff. Happy to recommend

Recently returned to the Pukemanu on my annual trip to NZ.
Possibly a 1+ star improvement on last year due to the friendly and efficient service from Talia, whilst other staff sat in the background eating.

Thank you Tahlia for the improvement on my last experience and recommendation of the cheese burger.

Look forward to your friendly service later thus year and or 2023.

Rude unprofessional manager, spoke to me very poorly assuming i was drunk and causing trouble which was absolutely not the case. The young girl behind the bar however was lovely. Unfortunately I will not be returning under that kind of management.

First visit here, and with a large group of people unannounced on a busy weekend, so I'm impressed with the ability of staff to cope with the influx of orders. Great food too. I had the salt & pepper squid rings and they were awesome ️

Ended up here after visiting a few of the wineries - great atmosphere, excellent food and staff were great too! They even had a live band - woot woot!

Local pub with good selection of beers, wines and other alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages. Good food served with bar meals and dining.
Live music, sport TV and horse racing/betting station. Lively and friendly bar.

Simple decent pub meal at a reasonable price.

Absolutely shocking at how the waitress treated us and telling us we have been disrespectful and been sworn at. And that after we were patient and understanding about the situation. Kids couldn't get the drinks they wanted or the meals because they had no stock. Sending my meal back 4 times and still not the way I wanted it. And then only to be harassed outside while leaving by the same waitress. I am totally disgusted and hope this waitress is fired tonight. Will never support this local pub again.

We had lunch here on Sunday.
They were short staffed so menu was limited.
However the food and service was excellent and we really enjoyed our lunch
In fact the scones were the best we have had!

Enjoyed being treated to lunch by our Uncle. Would come again and certainly recommend to others

Great atmosphere, small town comfy pub vibe. The prices are super cheap, the meals are generous, and very well done

Food was nice for pub food, Staff need to learn to smile and interact with patrons, did notice one couple walk out as they were not being attended to.

Haven't been to the bar and restaurant for a while but i do recommend going there for a meal the meals are delicious and the staff very nice and friendly not an expensive place to dine
And have a quiet drink. I haven't been there for a for about 4 months but have been to the bottle store there a few times and you also get great friendly service here also always greeted with a bright smile.

We enjoyed the company of alot of the locals pre New Year's Eve drinks were good prices we didn't eat anything

Really enjoyed my spicy chicken wings yesterday. Lovely outdoor bar area to enjoy the sun. Motorbike friendly as well!
