Rangoli Indian Restaurant

My sister organised my 50th at Rangoli and I have been very impressed with the whole arrangement.

MJ went out of his way to accommodate a large, noisy crowd. Food and service was fantastic. Everything was a pleasure and their hospitality was second to none.

Best curry we've had in the Wellington region. Chicken Pasanda was creamy and full of flavour and the Chicken Tikka Masala had a great smoky flavour. Service was great and they really looked after our toddler. Couldn't ask for more than that!

This place cooked me the most perfect Butter chicken I've ever had. I wouldn't leave a review otherwise.

We had a lovely quiet Friday lunch at Rangoli. Service was exceptional and food was fabulous! Very accomodating for my 21 month old and she even got given a lollipop! Highly recommended!

The food and service was fantastic, along with a prompt delivery. We ordered 7 curries and a side dish, along with some roti and naans. There was more than enough to satisfy 7 hungry adults for approximately $27 a head, which is great value! Every curry container was scraped clean, and there was a perfect ratio of rice to curry. The bombay aloo and the vindaloo were big hits. Thank you Rangoli for taking the hassle out of our family reunion and making the night a big success!

All-time favourite place to get curry in Kapiti! The staff are always so lovely and I’ve never once been disappointed by the food. The prices are also great, will always be my go-to place:)

Got takeaways here for the first time tonight. First thing that really impressed me was that the guy fronting the takeaway must have noticed me wearing a moonboot. We went to wait in the car. The order was ready a little early and he popped outside and delivered it through the window.
The meal was delicious. The heat was just to my taste, the spices were aromatic and complex, the meat was melt in you mouth tender and there was enough meat in the dish that we didn't feel ripped off, as so often seems to happen these days. The Naan bread was soft and flakey. I think I just became their newest regular customer.

Our family group of 20 (most visiting from OZ) enjoyed a great meal here last night. We chose Rangoli for this event because we've had consistently good experiences here. They cater for a diverse range of tastes from mild to Indian hot, vegetarian to goat. There were tasty meals for the 4 kids in the group and nothing is a bother. For such a large group we were pleasantly surprised that the meals all came out at roughly the same time. Everyone (including the fussy ones) came away saying how much they'd enjoyed what they'd chosen. We highly recommend Rangoli for a couple of people or big groups like ours.
