75100% Fantastic! We had such a great experience with Rasa. All the servers were very kind and professional, our food came quickly and it was very good value for money. The menu is very extensive with heaps of vegetarian options. Highly recommend the mutrabak (a large filled roti parcel). Will definitely be back to try the low-cost lunch menu!
A bit bad that there were not many vegetable dishes, and frozen spring roll? But the curry taste was good and atmosphere is good.
Got a curry and samosas to takeaway. The curry was very good but very disappointed to see the samosas were the small triangles of pastry you get from the supermarket. If I’d realised this before I left I would’ve returned them. Wouldn’t go back after that.
My family and I had amazing food at this cosy restaurant recently. Great staff and lovely atmosphere. Excellent value for money.
It's real food, very tasty. We had some Indian and Malaysian food. After long time had usual tasty food.
Definitely big servings. Nasi Goreng was good and can be shared with 3 people max. Just a bit oily for me. Can work for those who love that peanut-based oil.
We went there for dinner. I've been meaning to eat there for ages, but always ended up at another eatery. Just as well they've been around for many many years.
I'd been hanging for a masala dosa, and I got it tonight.it was so worth the wait too. Crispy fragrant pancake with spiced filling of potatoes.with 2 dipping sauces.both adding a refreshing different taste with the dosa. The ambience, and decor was very warm and inviting. Very happy dining experience cheers.
Not so great food and not so great staff. Wouldn’t go there again as clearly they’re interested in the customers coming for the “fine dining” and “Malaysian” gimmick.
Authentic style Malaysian including great curries. Usually very busy and vibrant so safer to book if you don't want to wait. Great value too. Love it.
Definitely not the best Malaysian restaurant in town but ok anyway. The portions are small and the biryani was a bit gluggy but the curry puffs were authentic and featured the spiral pastry!
Ordered the Masala dosai and chicken nasi goreng. They were both delicious, and the staff were quite friendly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for Indian/Malaysian cuisines.
What a waste of money better spent up the road at satay Malaysia. Beats this place hand down. Will I return. No
A little cramped. A great meal. Full of flavours. WOW! What an experience. Was full so ensure you book or are there early. Limited lunch menu, but an experience we all enjoyed.
Wouldn't return. I paid $19 for a cup of watery juice, 5 pieces of little chicken and 1 piece of tiny potato and you call it and Indian curry. Mate so sad.
A delicious meal out mid week. Nasi Lemak (with beef) and Murtabak (chicken) were superb. The food and the friendly staff make this an absolute winner.
It does get very noisy when it's full of people, so not so great for anyone with hearing loss/hearing aids as the ambient noise level is high.
We were lucky to get a walk-in table without a booking (due to a cancellation), but it's always pretty busy so suggest booking ahead of time, esp if there's more than two of you.
I got the beef rendang, roti, and dosa. They were all pretty good (garlic roti stood out to me) but I've had better rendang at other places in New Zealand
The food was great, considering the waiter did not ask how spicy we wanted our meals. He brought out our curries and they were super spicy. We waited on about 5 dishes of rice, which not all of them came, as the waiter was abit confused with orders. Also the wait time in food took 35 to 45 minutes as it was packed. The restaurant itself is very tiny and compact. They only really had one other wait staff running around. Was expecting more Malaysian dishes on the menu, but was more Indian.
Been here several times over many months, possibly years. Always really tasty meals, good size, and efficient pleasant service. Consistently very high standard in all respects
Goat curry the meat was dry, garlic roti very average steamed veg the same. I would look for something else next time
