Excellent and friendly service. Drinks were wonderfully hot and the kedgeree was exceptional.

Great coffee, menu and counter food too. This is one of my favourite places in Wellington as everything is consistently top notch and friendly too. Great coffee. If I'm going to Petone there's always an excuse to go here.

Friendly service and nothing was too much trouble. I had the house smoked fish kedgeree which was very tasty. Others at my table had the Manuka smoked bacon bagel.delicious.and a pastrami foccacia sandwich. We finished off with a sweet from the cabinet and a coffee. We were able to sit outside in the sunshine which was a bonus. Highly recommend Revive A+

Busy as usual. Went for coffee and light bite. Staff efficient, food up to standard. Humming with people.

Great coffee here. Very busy & at times very loud. Have you noticed how the loudness in cafe's & restaurants comes in waves? It's like one person gets excited & talks a bit louder, then the next person matches that & before you know it everyone is talking louder just to be heard. I call it "The Cafe Ca-coffee-nix Effect". Bit like the Butterfly Effect only louder. You heard it here first! ️

Very good food. Service was a little slow but understandable given staff shortages within this industry at this time.

This is the coffee you are looking for all your life living in the USA and hearing that NZ coffee is the best!
Enjoy it if you can,
sit and take your time and you can walk by the beach right across the main road, easy to park your car for free nearby and there are some beans bagged to go if you are into do it yourself!

Has been lacking vegan options for an inclusive modern environment. I have to make exceptions to my diet, ask for cheese to be removed and no mushrooms or avocado are added instead, they want to charge me more for just a fair replacement of something I'm not eating with something that is already part of the dish.
The price has increased terribly in past the couple of years and the amount of food is getting smaller and smaller.
So sad to stop supporting local.

Visited for the first time a few months ago and keep coming back - Good coffee, tasty cabinet food, easy parking and friendly service.

The food was well presented and tasty, however the service left a lot to be desired. 2 of our meals were forgotten, which were both just from the cabinet. When we enquired they told us that it would brought over straight away. However, after another wait, they informed us the they had re-sold one of the items to another customer. We were hopeful that they would be able to replace it with something else from the menu, but instead were told that the kitchen was now closed. The only option was a scone. Which we had to pay for, as they only refunded the difference between the original order and the scone. Even figuring out the refund seemed a bit taxing for the staff. I'd recommend taking your business to another cafe in Petone, lots of other great choices.

Great experience in Wellington. Best avocado toast and incredible mushrooms. Gluten free options and almond milk.

Half a latte. Half a flat white. Lemon, honey and ginger and once was a cheese scone. As you can tell the team enjoyed the visit to Revive. The ones in the know also recommend Myrtle in Wellington.

Coffee is good. Bit of a hiccup with how much it cost but received a really nice follow up from the owner. It is great to see such positive engagement in these difficult times.
Will be back.

Went for lunch and had our small dog with us. As we were the only people sitting outside in the rain we sheltered under the tree. The cafe was busy for a Sunday - they could benefit with an awning or cover for both sun and rain.
Food was good had the rare steak sandwich which was very tasty along with a latte that stayed hot as we ate.
Would definately go again

We came here to meet my Mum, I had some older teenagers with me and they were not overly impressed. I looked around and noticed the age group was a lot more grown up than them.
The teens wanted eggs on toast but this is not on the lunch menu and when we asked at the counter we were told this was not an option. We all managed to find something to eat which was OK.
I would not recommend this café for teens or young adults, but it is fine for grown ups.
